Not many people would think that passport fraud is a good idea.... it is a federal crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison....  so even if he were treated leniently when returned (not likely -- since he fled justice) he would have the federal charge also hanging over him....  It is only a matter of time... but he won't be back for a long time if ever once deported.

Why won't he be back? He didn't commit any crime here. Overstayed his visa maybe didn't have a work permit.

Anyway who cares. I just wish the best for the Thai chick.

His passport photo is his real photo. It wasn't the photo that got my attention. It was the date of birth. On his resume and to the room mate he claimed to be 28 years old, yet the passport listed him as being 23. Immigration would not have known because the passport and picture were correct it was just that the details belonged to someone else.

I see. I hope things will be sorted out soon. It's strange why she would try to protect him now, if that's really the case.

Now just out of curiosity how was he able to pull that off I wonder. Take on someone's identify, have his own photo in the passport, nobody notices.

Expect begging to be acknowledged? Happened to you before? Clearly you're irresponsible, expecting total strangers to agree to your charity case.

It's not begging. It's called people helping each other out. Happens often. Well not in your world.

    Btw I am responsible.

Yes it is amazing to go to an airport and don't bring enough money, a card or a ticket. It is not really nice to blame other people for your own stupidity.

Nobody blamed anyone. Just shared my experience. Still learning to read I see.

Don't mind giving to someone deserving, orphanages etc, not some falang who can't pay for an air ticket.

We all run into issues at times. Thinking that someone is not deserving tells a lot about what u think of yourself.

  7. The other day I was at an unspecified airport and I didn't have a booked flight ticket, instead I was about to buy one.

Then much to my amusement, I realized that I had 3 bucks less in cash than what I needed to purchase the ticket. Since I didn't have any cards on me, cash was the only option.

I thought, no problem it has happened to me many times that someone, either friend or stranger was in a similar situation and I have always been glad to help. So I figured, there must be someone at this packed airport with hundreds of people who has 3 dollars to help a brother out. Man, I was wrong. Not one person was interested to help. The moment money was mentioned, it was like being in an alternate reality where no such thing existed, lmfao.

Eventually, I had a friend send me money via western union but I was simply amazed at the f%&ing behavior of people.

Based on social media, Instagram Facebook and other things reserved for mentally challenged people, I thought everybody was rich.

And how is it that everybody is interested in receiving but nobody wants to give?

  8. I have wondered about this myself. An alternative to Thailand country. My extensive travel and my investigation indicates, that there is no other country on the planet as of the moment, that is as surreal, unreal, well developed but still backward and enjoyable as Thailand. It's just the whole package, plus a few f+*kups for good measure.

On a side note, what do you mean you have limited time? All you have to do is hop on a plane to China and find a real doctor who's going to cure the cancer before you can blink twice. Don't bother with western doctors. That's like going to a car dealership when you are hungry. Nonsense. You are not going to find what you are looking for. Chinese doctors, traditional Chinese medicine is a different ballgame however. That's what I would do.

My BS detector is dinging. Anyway whatever good luck to him.

Which part made you suspicious? That he used to be a pilot? Or that he went to jog one day? Or that he fainted?
