Not in Thailand, the driving is fine.... its the roads that are too slippy or the brakes that are not good enough... possibly an amulet was not good enough.
Its never anything to do with speeding, poor maintenance, sleeping, high-on Yabba, smashed up on lao-khao, caffeined up on M150,.......
You missed that old favorite. Bald tyres.

UPDATE
Went there this morning. The vaccine centre is on the first floor, beach end. Arrived at 11.15, it looked busy. I was surprised how efficient they were and very helpful. I have a hearing problem and trying to listen to someone who is talking through a thick mask is almost impossible, so the nurse helping me wrote every question down. A quick, easy and sensible solution.
As I said I arrived at 11.15 and by 12.15 was on my motorbike going home. That hour included 15 minutes waiting time to see if any thing adverse occurred and 5 minutes trying to find it.

She speaks a few english words.. Tel 0955035678. Manicure+pedicure 350 bahts
Have a nice day.

After many years of using the same lady for all my hands ,feet an hair needs I find I need a new one. The lady in question has decided to go back to the farm. After her husband died last she she thought she would stay here but after a year she has decided not to. She will be coming back occasionally (she still has a house here) but not enough to continue with the Hairdressing etc.
This has left me with a problem. She was the best manicurist I have ever used in all the years of coming and then living here.
So can any one recommend a good manicurist. I live i Jomtein but have a motor bike so anywhere within 20 kilometers would help.

They won't send you replacement debit/credit cards.
They don't already. My sister sends them.

I am currently Banking with Nationwide and use my UK address, but as I am spending much more time here I was thinking of notifying the bank of my Thai address instead. Would that cause me any problems.

I sent another email to Magna Carta today and got an almost instant reply. Apparently they replied last week but for some reason I did not receive it.
Anyway they quoted me 2,500 Baht for a notorised translation.

Well, I contacted Key Visa and MagnaCarta. Key Visa replied but didn't say if they did or what price. Contacted them again and am still waiting. MagnaCarta promises a reply in 24 hours that was 3 days ago. I am not impressed.

Serving alchohol in restaurants and hotels.
Two of the best options I found in Petchabun city, but you might go another place?
SR Residennce Hotel

Livist Resort Phetchabun
+66 98 792 2035
https://goo.gl/maps/k7kHAtYc7vn8WcLT9Thanks for that. We normally stay at SR Residence.
Last time we were there I went to order dinner on 31st December 2020 and included a bottle of wine. Was told no can do. So I went to the car were I happened to have a bottle but when I brought into the restaurant we were told still cannot do orders from the Governor,
Imagine our annoyance when arriving back in Pattaya a few days later that the Governor of Pattaya did enact the same rule but after News Years Eve.

Depends on the Province, in Rayong it's still NO.
That's why I was asking about Phetchabun as I have to go there soon and I like to have a drink with my meals.

The really funny part is that sounds like a joke, but it’s the exact truth of the world we live in
Can you explain that to me. In Pattaya just now most placest hat are open are not taking a blind bit of notice and you just walk in. Only places like Walking Street where you have to show an up to date test or get tested on entry.

Everyday I read the number of cases in Chonburi and Pattaya but when I try to find statistics from other provinces I can't. Anybody have any news of a website that has provincial figures.I have searched using Google but maybe I'm missing something.

Well I for one enjoy his article every week and look forward to continuing reading it for many years to come.
