3BB have a 1000/300 for 590 per month.
I switched from a 1000/1000 at 1,200 baht per month to this plan a year ago. I can't tell the difference between the old plan and the cheaper one. I'm in Pattaya so can't speak for Bangkok.
Do you have an option for any additional services like BritManToo mentions.

This thread is missing the point. For every sex tourist you need sex workers but you also need other workers as well. The tourist doesn't necessarily go with a sex worker every day.
Even when he does he will still need bar staff retardant staff. Hotel workers pool-cleaners etc. For every sex worker there must be dozens who are needed to run the resort.
So you may not have any sympathy for the sex workers but just think of the thousands who are out of work as well. They probably didn't have a job that enabled them to have massive savings and because they were off the books (as most people in the tourist trade are) they dont get any help from the government.

At one set of traffic lights I ride through everyday in Pattaya I always see one or two people jump the lights. That's Evey day every time. I cannot remember the last time I sat at the lights and didn't see somebody jump them. Perhaps one of those cameras when taken down could be moved there.

Once the complete story comes out we will probably find that they have all been double vaccinated and are traveling together so they thought while together they dont need masks.

People are scared as the old are dying because of the vaccine MUBAR (messed up beyond all recognition)
The original military slang is FUBAR. I'll leave it to your imagination what the F stands for.

You give mastermind status to people who can't fix the drains.?
Mastermind. It reminds me of the TV quiz show, "I've started so I'll finish" but in Thailand the last 3 words are missing.

No, it just sounds more professional.

I always forget about Harbor Mall. I went there when it first opened and thought it was rubbish so have never been back.

Been thinking about getting an electric bike. The one I'm looking at on Lazada comes with Vacuum tyres. Not being sure what that means I searched on Google. I found the results confusing. They mention Pneumatic tyres and solid tyres but very little about Vacuum tyres.
Are Vacuum tyres and Pneumatic tyres one and the same thing? As in tubeless tyres. And if so is there anywhere in Pattaya to buy replacement tyres when needed (14").

I use HD Prime as my source for sport. Over the last few days the service has been terrible. In fact it got so bad that at just after 11 last night I gave up on the rugby and turned it of. Does anyone know of a good replacement with similar sports coverage. I am quite happy paying for it.

Or as a friend of mine would say "Brown bread". Has Pattaya finally had it. It's not sudden, parts of the city have been suffering for years. As the number of Chinese etc kept increasing the number of Europeans etc reduced. So a number of businesses which catered to 'should we say the more interesting' parts of business suffered. Some who modified their approach prospered, while others went to the wall.
Then Covid 19 happened. To start with most businesses gritted their teeth and waited. Some went under but a big chunk thought like most people it wouldn't last that long. So they laid people off and started to go through their savings. Well things come to an end.
So here we are, well into the third wave with the most draconian measures in place. Even well run businesses have temporarily shut and a lot of them permanently.
Will it open up again? Well obviously it will. It's still a seaside resort, but it will take a long time. Whether we who live here now will still recognize the place in 5 years I doubt it.

Is there anybody else having problems getting Pattaya Mail. For a long time I have had a problem with Pattaya Mail using Firefox (my default browser) so I use Google Chrome when I need to. Today no matter which browser I used I was getting Error 504. message. Anybody know why?

Years ago I had a friend who had bar but no transport so when he got some English money I used to go to a shop called Gold on Soi Rung Land. About 50 yards in on the left coming from Pattaya Tai. My mate said it always had the best rate. There are no rates displayed on the window I expect you would have to go in and ask. I drove past there the other day and it's still open.
Apart from the name there is no other reference to what the shop is for.

As an extra to this Lambs Liver and Veal.

Where is the best place in Pattaya to buy smallish chickens. The ones in Friendship are always the same size and I would like to buy one a little bit smaller.

Played golf the other day. There was a sign in the restaurant which stated that alcohol can be sold but you cannot consume it in the clubhouse. I suppose a golf club is a bit like a 7/11.

I played a round of golf today. I tried to send a message to the club and tell them how happy I was was with the caddy (357) but it didn't matter how I tried I couldn't send an email. It was the first time I played there. I will only be to happy to play there again. But they could improve their internet access.

I was just wondering if it's common or unusual to have a flag system. I only found out yesterday that it's for Handicapped Golfers. Well it's what my caddie asked for when she took me back to the desk at Eastern Star.
I found it made a hell of an improvement of my enjoyment. Mind you my golf was the same as usual - rubbish.

I am getting old and slow and rely more on Golf Carts. As I am not all that familiar with the courses around Pattaya can someone tell me the courses most amenable to carts IE covering most holes and getting closer to the green.
Also which courses provide a flag system for more access. I know Laem Chabang does.

Enforcement or Confiscation is not an Asian thing really, would just be further tea money devices...... far better to BAN the statistical top vehicle killers starting with All Mopeds below 130cc .......50 lives a day saved right there.....moving on perhaps to (Empty / Overloaded )Pick Ups ( which ALWAYS seem to be EMPTY or Overloaded in back ......status BS or what ?)
What are you suggesting? I have been riding a scooter here for best part of 20 years. No accidents. Mind you that could be because I stop at red traffic lights and junctions. Don't speed or drive on the opposite side of the road (or pavements). It's my only form of transport and you want to take it away from me. Better just to enforce the laws that we-have.
