  1. Indian's are usually placid. Picking up weapons escalates it, lucky Thais didn't get their guns out

  3. Amazing to think someone could have low vit D in Thailand unless they cover up or don't spend much time outside, go for walks outside
  4. a guy I know had a stroke went to Bangkok Pattaya, had some keyhole surgery thing to remove the clot, 1m baht later, still isn't right

  6. Stress test can be done in one of the private hospitals, he likes Pattaya by the sounds of it. I mention the prices as a guide, maybe a lab in Bangkok with similar pricing
  7. and a night out in Pattaya maybe. Needs to be fasting though so no food or drink beforehand, i usually go when it opens at 7.30am, i go day before to pick up bottle for the occult blood stool test (200 baht), at lifecare lab package 4 is 700 baht, hba1c is 350 baht
  8. 5 hours is a long time, meant to get the clot buster drug within 4.5 hours (just checked), maybe a case for just paying privately quickly
  9. True but sad to think it could be declined. I know of a guy who had a stroke and unconscious so couldn't pay, the specialist stroke unit declined treatment, he was transferred to a govt hospital, didn't go well

  11. At lifecare Lab that package is 1,000 baht excluding dentist, eye checks and x ray, not sure how good or important they are

  14. One thing I've recently noticed, lifecare lab Creatinine results are off compared to Red Cross, look wrong, 3 wildly different readings since early 2022

  19. Eating a healthy diet will reduce cholesterol, if you are still on those drugs then your Dr can advise reducing them

I'm guessing you eat junk food but you haven't mentioned it, pizza, curry, deep fried chips, pastries, cakes, ice cream, chocolate etc? if so how much and how often? anyway, you have to be honest with yourself, big people often seem to eat little, but binge in private. focus on a healthy diet, cut out junk food to once a week or less

  23. Diet looks ok, why you on statins? what caused it? BMI healthy weight for decades?
  24. All those things probably can be solved by diet + getting more sun. What do you eat? just noodle soup? you don't say your age? or whether you exercise and how much?
