  1. they quoted 6k but the have lots of options to increase or reduce cover except for value of motorbike, check online
  2. Thai people like the dual pricing, they like to hear that you are paying more than them, I've noticed it at golf
  3. Rare, they will laugh in your face, good for a laugh though
  4. an old lady in a mom and pop shop short changed me the other day on purpose, gave her 100, she said it was 20, slight of hand moved the 100 underneath, sad, we only go there to give her custom
  5. That's the problem, i couldn't find one of those Kerry dropoffs, well there was one at Shell Suk but that's closed apparently. Flash is on 3rd road, I'd select that if you can. Let us know if you find one, the website showing Kerry dropoffs is mostly wrong
  6. i went to a popular thai restaurant yesterday in Sattahip, no vegetables on the menu, just a choice of 8 dishes, rice or noodles and meat, egg
  7. It really varies based on the components, groupset etc, best to ask at the shop. They seem to be around 15k, bare in mind good road bikes are 100k+ these days
  8. let us know on here when you get the confirm
  9. Didn't BM Simon go to OIC that was a while ago? heard nothing
  10. on the Forza? 7k premium? very unlikely to have 200k medical expenses covered, who with? do a screenshot if you can
  11. a good example where a lawyer may be required, can't just rely on OIC, how long would that drift on
  12. of course 1000mbps is garbage
  13. i meant what medical cover does your policy include? mine is 50k on a Click
  14. a friend of mine, cycles a lot maybe 12k km a year, just got hit by a car walking on Buakhao, more exposed walking than a bicycle or motorbike
  15. i was surprised how low Roojai put on a 1 year old Click 160. Roojai 40k, MSIG 50k, Roojai was cheaper but inferior cover. As for medical cover on the insurance, how much is yours? on mine it's only 50k

  17. The catch will be you won't get 1000mbps, depends what your area can get
  18. i prefer the liveliness of central, no need to live central unless you have one of those fake wives, kids and pets and mandatory pickup
  19. Cadence Cycles, Jomtien 2nd road by soi 8, very popular, has good mountain bikes available, i see the sold photos regularly on facebook
  20. Cars and motorbikes are very patient with cyclists, often taking a wide birth round them, opposite to other cars and motorbikes
  21. Mostly they need money for their family, children, parents, siblings, you giving them pocket money won't cut it. The only way around it is find someone with a good job with income who doesn't need a farang to subsidise them, but like i said younger girls aren't going to want much older farang
  22. if it did you'd see posts about it, not one so far
  23. Yep, thick neck types 555
  24. fyi if you want to ride with any of the decent cycling groups you're going to have to cycle down busy roads sometimes, if a lone rider you can avoid but won't be as good
  25. Other banking apps are requiring the same, just turn them off or uninstall so you can use the app, it's a security issue, the other apps seem to be antivirus type apps/software
