i think you will find that the funds required (800,000thb) for a within country non imm 'O' visa for retirement as part of a conversion process, do have to come from abroad unless the funds have been in your bank account for a long period of time, likewise the 65,000 monthly income does also have to come from abroad, unlike the 40,000thb required for a 'married' yearly extension

when the UK left the EU, pension increases should have stopped for expats living there, but no somehow they the government managed to allow the increases to continue, so if it's a priority or high profile enough it can be done, i wonder how many people benefitted from that change in the rules to allow the uprating. -

100 km longer how could it be quicker, 4hours 30min against 3hours 20min -
just come back from a last minute break, it looked busy to me but not crowded out, lots of 'backpacking' looking people about, ferry was full for both crossing, booked sunday for mon/tues nights for 3 rooms most places had vacancies. settled on 'the splash' good price, good rooms, good buffet breakfast, booked direct on web.
