  1. send them a prepaid envelope, maybe they will return it to you, but seriously what problem is it to put a mask on, i think you are just being petty, there are other banks.
  2. 100% his fault, too fast for the conditions, i didn't read he was an insurance agent,
  3. I worked at Portobella road street market for the local council some years ago, the carnival is a gathering of thousands of people that do not want to follow the normal rules of the area, people that live in the notting hill area where the carnival is held barricade their homes and remain inside at all times the carnival is on. as a lot of the attendees are violent, non law abiding, normal local council staff refuse to work the carnival as did i Stabbings, theft, assault both sexual and non sexual, muggings, urinating on people's property and worse, drug related crime, are rife, just look at the crime figures for the event. its time the event was cancelled or scaled down in some way. already this year there are 100's of reports of assault, one death and 8 sexual assaults
  4. not where you get the term 'government verified' from, more likely they know someone who knows someone in a position to help, what about the financial requirement that are bypassed, yes some agents are completely legal, if they only help with collating the required documents, and maybe stand in line for you at the required office, but others are sailing close to the wind, the same as agents for driving licences, the rules are the rules and in some cases those rules are completely bypassed, there are posts on here where it is posted that IO are allowed some discretion regarding the financials, but why does it 99.9% of the time only happen when an agent is involved.
  5. not the best method or the cheapest, you need a non imm visa to be able to apply for a yearly extension 'retirement' either from UK, or within Thailand as part of a conversion process from visa exempt or tourist visa entry. keep away from agents they are costly and on the whole do something iffy, not quite legal just plain iffy.
  6. it seems to me she is staying under any means that she can, ed visa, repeated covid extensions, and immigration are suspicious, the same thing has been reported on here many times over the years, for many different nationalities, it used to be visa exempt border hops, but they put restrictions on them at land borders, then it was repeated tourist visa's then ed visas and now its volunteer visa's, there will always be people trying to stay long term in Thailand when there is no suitable long term visa for them, maybe the 'rich' boyfriend should buy her an elite visa.
  7. 34 page i think its 1,000thb more for the 44
  8. did you not see ''all in'' so cheaper than the other one posted, but i didn't post it as cheaper i posted it as an alternative, also check out the fees if they use the company credit card, as opposed to your card
  9. do you need a bus ie other people on board, or a taxi for exclusive use
  10. Thai visa express also do Uk passport application service, on their website 10,000thb all in. https://thaivisa-express.com/can-a-visa-agent-help-me-get-a-new-british-passport/
  11. do one or both of the next 90 day report late that will take you date past the 4th March.
  12. you can buy the compulsory insurance without driving the car, any testing station will supply it. and online insurance companies, i personally as a non Thai would not drive without some sort of extra insurance class1, 2 2a or 3, who would also do the compulsory insurance about 600ish baht extra
  13. how old is the car, if less than 7 years you can insure and tax without driving it. if more than 7 you can insure it before driving it to the test centre, so only no tax
  14. At Rayong you need the QR code to get an appointment, on the day of the appointment its a separate Q for non Thais, only test is a 'traffic light' colour test, a lot of form checking, they take a photo and that's it 750thb ish for 2 licences, out in 90 minutes.
  15. i think you have left it too late to renew your Uk passport in time to allow you to renew your yearly extension on that passport, 12 weeks turn around at a minimum 1/leave Thailand by air and re-entering on Irish passport, and start the yearly extension process again via a conversion to non imm 'O' etc, using that passport, 2/ you could apply for a replacement UK passport and then leave Thailand by air re-entering on Irish passport with a 30 day visa exempt entry (possibly 45 days if after 1st october) + a 30 day extension, which could give you an extra time for the passport to arrive, you could combine this with a few weeks stay in a surrounding country to you give you even more time, but once you have new passport then a fresh border run will be required to reuse UK passport and a new non imm 'O' visa will be required 3/ return to UK for a in person passport application, before your extension in Thailand expires, ie obtain a re-entry permit which will allow you to re-enter Thailand before the 1st october , then renew extension in new passport. no need for a fresh non imm vis 4/ maybe find a solution i can not think of at this time I think option 1 or 3 are the better choices, as 2 involves 2 border runs and a fresh non imm visa good luck
  16. a married none Thai couple can piggy back off the first persons 800,000thb
  17. yearly 'married' extension is easy to do and what are the hoops- a few extra things required than a 'retirement' extension.
  18. everyone entitled to their opinion, but as i said i don't have to like the finished article, but as long as the quality of my work was the best, i was happy
  19. thank you, lots of tilers in the family, I had 45 years at it, worked all over the UK, maily London and Eastern UK, I really liked large one off built houses, for smaller good builders.
  20. that wet room had just been grouted and washed off so still a bit hazy, you can see bits are still wet, they were natural stone and cost a kings ransom, and was floor to ceiling, had to re-enforce the walls to take the weight, one wall had half a ton in stone slabs, fixed on a waterproof backer board, stone chosen by the house owner, i don't have to like them to lay them, it was a refurbishment, all the floors and walls were stone, here's a better photo of the same wetroom and the kitchen floor.
  21. the normal tiles for whole house floor now is 600 x600 porcelain tiles, but make sure they are fitted with a 3mm gap to allow for expansion and with a suitable porcelain adhesive, not sand and cement. my advice is don't fully tile a kitchen or all walls in wet rooms, as a change of paint can easily change the appearance of a room after a few years, some work i did in the UK-
  22. no, its not an exact number, but it means a lot less than 13, and bear in mind you have 7 days after the 90 day date.
  23. i would have thought the celerio would as a cheap car not be a safe car, but your photo's have shown it is well built, so i'm impressed, at 416,000thb for a cvt auto car its cheap, does anyone know when the new model will arrive in Thailand, also if the Jatco cvt is a 7 speed is it the same one used in the latest mg zs, or is it an aisin 7 speed cvt
