that wet room had just been grouted and washed off so still a bit hazy, you can see bits are still wet, they were natural stone and cost a kings ransom, and was floor to ceiling, had to re-enforce the walls to take the weight, one wall had half a ton in stone slabs, fixed on a waterproof backer board, stone chosen by the house owner, i don't have to like them to lay them, it was a refurbishment, all the floors and walls were stone, here's a better photo of the same wetroom and the kitchen floor. -

the normal tiles for whole house floor now is 600 x600 porcelain tiles, but make sure they are fitted with a 3mm gap to allow for expansion and with a suitable porcelain adhesive, not sand and cement. my advice is don't fully tile a kitchen or all walls in wet rooms, as a change of paint can easily change the appearance of a room after a few years, some work i did in the UK- -
i would have thought the celerio would as a cheap car not be a safe car, but your photo's have shown it is well built, so i'm impressed, at 416,000thb for a cvt auto car its cheap, does anyone know when the new model will arrive in Thailand, also if the Jatco cvt is a 7 speed is it the same one used in the latest mg zs, or is it an aisin 7 speed cvt

not only did they miss the stamp in his passport, but they missed it 3 times, and he happens to have a friend who arrived a few weeks back, and they missed his stamp as well, and not only that because he can not count he is late for a 90 day report, but he only arrived a few weeks ago, also tm6's have been done away with, so i think peterfranks is spot om with his post, how many posters on here can honestly post they have had the same thing happen to them, i for one can not.

Question for how long I can stay?
steve187 replied to Gknrd's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
you can do a conversion to non imm visa 'retirement' if over 50 (2,000thb), but will need 800,000tb in a bank account in your name only on day of application and have 14 days left on your permission to stay stamp -
single entry tourist visa entry (only available outside Thailand) 60 day entry stamp, together with a 30 day extension (1,900thb) gives you 90 days, a border bounce for a visa exempt 30 day entry stamp with an extension another 30 days that's 150 days

may not will lead to a criminal investigation, but only if caught

Best agent for retirement visa.
steve187 replied to alphone2's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
you could enter on a visa exempt entry(30 day stamp) and then either 1/ apply for a non immigrant visa ( 2,000thb )at local immigration office you will need 800,000 transferred from abroad in a bank account in your name only, money only has to be in the bank on the day of application, no seasoning required, which will give you a 90 day stamp, in the last 30 days and when the money in the bank has seasoned apply for a one year retirement extension (1,9000thb ) or 2/ apply for a 30 day extension if more time is required to get bank account sorted etc. (1,900thb) and then do as 1/ above no medical or police check is required at any stage. keep away from agents -

Doesn’t the TAT want tourists here in Thailand?
steve187 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
i don't think they are fake year visa's but i believe some yearly extensions are issued by immigration offices without all the requirements being fully checked -

steve187 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
not quite the same is it, ones a tourist location so should be easy,as they want the tourists and long stayers, the other two are a place where immigrants want to enter illegally- 172 replies

Pharmacy in Pattaya with wide range of Farang medications
steve187 replied to Danderman123's topic in Pattaya
op check medisafe via messenger the times i have checked Fascino were far from the cheapest, recently i needed to find some Ramipril 5mg, at a local pharmacy near to me they were 650thb for 30 tablets, on a trip down south i forgot my medicine and called into a pharmacy in Hua Hin 500thb for 30, i checked with fascino 750thb for 30, i was looking for a generic brand, all of the above pharmacies only had non generic brand, i contacted medsafe on messenger, generic version 585 for 100, delivered 2 days later for 40thb -
not quite correct, a Thai national living in Thailand can get a Uk state pension if she has contributed at least 10 years UK NI contributions being married or not doesn't come into it, but would make no difference, you would be correct for other benefits.

arriving on the 5th October you would be stamped in visa exempt until the 3rd November

No combination method for 'married' extensions
-
you must be bring money in for monthly living expenses, so after the extension has been approved start using the 400,000 as monthly living expenses and then top up to the 400,000 2 months before re-applying the following year, you only need to keep the 400,000 in the bank for the seasoning period of 2 months, some IO require it to be there for the under consideration period, keep away from Agents.
