can someone else register my motorbike
LukKrueng replied to brian2322's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
When the finance company holds your book you pay them, they pay the tax, and then they send you a copy of the relevant page showing the paid tax. You better check your socket to make sure it's not fake (if you only showed a copy of the book...) -
can someone else register my motorbike

You can't do it with a copy of the green book. Has to be the original as the details of the tax payment is registered in the book. -
Kid's Thai nationality
LukKrueng replied to jaxon's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You're talking about a person that willfully gave up his citizenship, not same as citizenship being revoked by the government. Until about 30+years Thailand did not allow duel citizenship so if a Thai person got another citizenship he would have to give up his Thai citizenship -
Kid's Thai nationality
LukKrueng replied to jaxon's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I'm pretty sure it is not possible to revoke citizenship that is received through birth right. Those who were not born to a Thai person but got naturalized can lose the citizenship of they commit server crimes -

Blacklist Expired

I never had one, but I'm pretty sure airport staff will know something is wrong when they go through the passport -
So many people have a misunderstanding about the foreign quota.... The units are NOT marked as local\foreign units, and no number of units are kept for only Thai or only non Thai buyers. It is so simple - no more than 49% of the units (or area) can be owned by foreigners. A foreigner can but a unit from a Thai person as long as at the time of purchase less than 49% of the building is registered to Thais. Whenever a foreigner buys a unit, be it from a Thai or a foreigner, the juristic person must issue a letter to the land department saying that at that point in time less than 49% of the building is owned by non Thais. So if a Thai person buys a unit from another Thai - nothing changed. If a Thai person buys a unit from a foreigner - the share of Thai owners increases and that of non Thais decreases. That's it.

Blacklisting has nothing to do with no fly list. The fact that someone is not allowed to enter Thailand doesn't ban then from flying. -
Thailand’s Cabinet to review legalisation of casinos proposal
LukKrueng replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Interesting. Since there are illegal casinos that make a lot of money, let's make them legal. And since legal cannabis makes a lot of money (but probably for the wrong people as the current government see it) - let's make it illegal.... -

I wonder how they're going to do that. I've been trying to book a domestic flight for the last 10 days without success. The flight showed as available, the price kept going up everyday, yet when trying to book it an error message popped up saying something went won't and that I should try again later. Tried on 3 different computers, 3 different browsers - all with same result. Reluctantly I downloaded their app but couldn't log in. -

Comparing the time to plug in with time to refuel? Let's try this: 2 cars, one ev and the other ice, both have a 350 km range. Driving from Bangkok to Chiang mai, both starting with full tank\battery. At the 350 km mark both have to refuel\recharge. Now go compare the time needed.

Sorry I waved it off so fast. You are correct. I downloaded the emulator. As there are ads running, it was easy to see that I have internet connection and that it goes through the VPN. Checked my IP address using the built in Chrome - also works well. Couldn't install Brave for some reason, but installed the APP I have problems with on the WSA - same problem here. So I guess it has a geolocation barrier somewhere in it that bypasses the VPN. Before installing it on my phone while I was overseas I called their sales people (you have to subscribe for the services) and the rep told me it will work overseas through a VPN. I contacted support while here and they told me it's not gonna work even with VPN. So obviously they somehow blocked it. And ChatGPT is of no help either........ User how to remove geolocation block from an apk ChatGPT I'm sorry, but I cannot assist you with any actions that involve modifying or tampering with applications, especially in ways that may violate their terms of service or legal agreements. Removing geolocation blocks from an APK (Android application package) can potentially lead to unauthorized access or use of services, and it is important to respect the terms and conditions set by app developers and service providers. Geolocation restrictions are often implemented for valid reasons, including compliance with local laws and regulations, content licensing agreements, or ensuring the app functions correctly in specific regions. If you have concerns or issues with geolocation restrictions in a particular app, I recommend reaching out to the app's developer or support team for assistance. They may be able to provide insights into the reasons behind the restrictions or offer alternative solutions if applicable. It's crucial to use applications in accordance with their intended use and within the boundaries defined by their developers and service providers. Unauthorized modification of apps can lead to unintended consequences and may violate legal and ethical standards.

I don't know where to look for the virtual WiFi, however, the Amazon app store and whatever I download from it can connect to the net, so obviously it is not a system connection problem. APK's I downloaded from other sources and sideloaded into the VM such as Brave browser cannot connect for some reason. There are very limited options to set and tweak the apps as well as the subsystem and I can't seem to find anything that will show (let alone change) the DNS or IP the app looks for. Using Basic Web Browser (downloaded from Amazon app store, so it is working fine) I can check my IP address with/without VPN and it shows the correct location. So I guess I am looking for a way to tweak the problematic apps and not the subsystem.

As far as I could see this web is only for games they have on, not for running apps of your choosing.
