  1. You cannot exit with an expired passport, but as was mentioned many times above there's no minimum validity needed to exit the country. As long as the British passport has long enough validity to enter the destination country there's no problem
  2. who lives with his 35-year (mother who is a widow and garment worker) in a rental room. Try reading only the underlined part. Makes more sense.
  3. OP is talking about a fixed term savings account, not a day to day savings account. AFAIK you can't have an ATM/ Internet banking on such accounts. As there are 2 signatories on the account, both have to sign the new book, and probably both have to sign to withdraw money from the account.
  4. As you have 2 signatories in the book, both must sign the new passbook. I don't think there's any way around that.
  5. A chanote cannot be issued for a land with a slow greater than 20 or 30 degrees (can't remember if 20 or 30). Also any waterway - even the smallest creek cannot be owned, so a land with a stream (even a dry creek) on it will be split with several meters of land on both sides of the creek being public land. You might find such land with chanot, but as mentioned above it was either issued illegally or simply a fake, and the land might be confiscated by the governed at any time.
  6. Maybe because so many Thai citizens in Thailand are also waiting?
  7. I'd say if you're in Thailand it will be easier and less paperwork to get married as a Thai. You'll have to notify the US embassy about your marriage anyway. The only problem you might have is if your name is not the same on both passports
  8. If you keep the money in another bank account for the 7 months the fate of the money will be the same, so I guess you suggest keeping it in the fridge or under the mattress?
  9. Did you read it all? From the op: The study involved 28 clinically confirmed cases of Bell's Palsy after Sinovac's CoronaVac shot reported among nearly 452,000 individuals who received first dose of the vaccine, and 16 cases after Pfizer/BioNtech's vaccine detected from more than 537,000 individuals.
  10. Russian man loses gold necklace worth 20,000 baht after it was allegedly stolen So did he lose it or was it stolen? Or maybe he stole it and then lost it?
  11. I owned a 2012 focus. Battery died at the car wash. Jump started it and put it in gear - nothing happened. Called Ford garage and they said if battery is too weak nothing works properly and I should run the engine idle for about 20 minutes. After that I rushed to the garage to replace the battery and all was fine. These cars use so much battery power that if you only take short trips the battery die very fast
  12. Although many countries demand a minimum of 6 months validity for entering, its not 1 law common to all countries. Some countries demand validity for the planned length of stay, so if you go on a 2 weeks holiday to such destinations 2 weeks validity will suffice. Should check the regulation of your destination.
  13. A friend of mine had a caretaker for his father for about 8 years. In the last month or so the father was hospitalised and she was there with him to the last moment. She had a fine salary and good conditions from day one. When he passed she asked to stay at his place for another week or so and the son allowed it, of course. He then paid her 100k baht as gratitude for her long devoted service.
  14. Never tried it. But I heard that if you do, you should put chilli between them. So if you feel the burn - the inner one is broken. If she feels the burn - the outer one is broken. If both of you feel the burn - your kinda f*cked...
