  1. Well, Trump says he does... else what's all this tariff war about?
  2. Trump said it wasn't him making that Pope AI photo, doesn't know it's AI, nor who created or originally posted it. But Melania thought it was cute, so he reposted it. https://www.yahoo.com/news/melania-egged-trump-over-cute-212034200.html I read it elsewhere but that wasn't in English so above link is searching for the translation... Seems same article was source for both, what I read and what is linked above.
  3. I'm getting popcorn ready for that. Sadly, many Americans will be unable to do the same once shelves start emptying out in a few days...
  4. Why ask me? Ask him.
  5. And what's a reshuffle going to achieve? You need new people with new ideas, not reshuffling the same ones.
  6. I see copies of my company's products widely available in Thailand. Heck they even print our logo on complete crap and claim it's from us. So while I understand their pain, this is not a Thailand-only problem, it's a global challenge, one where Thais play on both sides.
  7. No idea about Park Origin but our condo has a banner outside with green marking that building is considered structurally safe after government inspection. Maybe those renting properties out are dealing with repairs to their units, or maybe don't want to rent until the common areas and outside is fixed...
  8. Remove warning labels, expiry dates, standards and safety testing as well. Let Darwin choose the length of people's lives.
  9. Since father was American and mother wasn't, there would have to be a DNA test performed to confirm Donald as a father, but with that, Barron could get American citizenship. He could now no longer get Slovenian citizenship though, as although Slovenia does allow dual citizenship, both must be in European Union. Unsure how those who already have US and Slovenian citizenship are able to continue having them... I guess they are grandfathered or nobody cares about enforcement, or possibly Slovenian government just isn't informed of their other citizenship. Not like he would want it. Just saying this as his mother is Slovenian and this post is about citizenship...
  10. You don't understand how low cost carriers work. The point of their operations is simplification, meaning trying to have planes of same model with compatible parts, so that you can use any plane on any route and minimise the parts inventory as you don't have to keep parts for every different model. Air Asia used to be a Boeing 737 customer... used to be. After making a switch to Airbus, it has flushed out all of their Boeing fleet, and should Ryan Air switch to Airbus, they would do the same. Ryanair is not the only airline cancelling or considering to cancel orders. Just adding Chinese airlines to that list wipes significant proportion of that waiting list, and that's just the airlines that made their intentions public. Boeing is not in good shape, for a while already (nothing to do with Trump). This is certainly not great news for them.
  11. Was just watching on ... was it BBC? DW? Can't remember, anyway, yesterday's report on the mood of the German consumer, where over 70% stated that they would not buy American brands anymore. That's the worst kind of tariff - companies are penalised because they are from a specific country by consumer boycott, more or less, regardless of where products are actually made. If this spreads, United States will be hurting more than Trump can imagine. Can't wait for Washington apples to start printing Canadian flag on the sticker and call themselves Ontario apples... Or Dell claiming to be Proudly Mexican....
  12. Neither are the other 499+ pages of FTA documentation.
  13. Of course Donald is still winning. After getting "p*ssed off" at Bezos for wanting to put the tariffs information in the price calculations on Amazon, one call from Trump sorted all that out. “Jeff Bezos was very nice. He was terrific,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday. “He solved the problem very quickly. Good guy.” https://edition.cnn.com/2025/04/29/business/white-house-calls-report-that-amazon-is-adding-a-tariff-charge-a-hostile-action/index.html
  14. In a country in Europe I'm just back from I've heard the announcement on radio that not moving to the side of the road to allow ambulance to pass carries a 5000 EUR fine. With number of such incidents reported in Thailand every year, maybe there's a way to discipline drivers into giving way to those trying to save lives...
  15. That last one is going to get him seriously in trouble...

  17. The survivor could have also had water with him when going up, it's hot and there's no 7-11 at the top of the building... though maybe a liter or so would not last very long...
  18. He admitted insider trading and manipulation... WhatsApp Video 2025-04-11 at 17.18.07.mp4 See, that's the problem when someone has big mouth and small br... erm... hands.

  20. Thank you, United Airlines...
  21. I'm no fan of Boeing aircraft or company, but Dreamliner is my favourite bird from them, and TG already has a handful of them which I've flown several times. They do look a little dated from the outside but still wonderful to fly. So it makes sense for the airline to increase the fleet of these, regardless of politics.
  22. This poll is unfair, as Trump already caved...
