I had something that may be similar to the OP several months ago. I ordered some brand name safety boots that were about half price. Tracking said seller had packed the item but Lazada cancelled the order, as they always do, when the seller failed to hand the item over to the shipper by the estimated delivery date. Two days later a delivery guy turns up with an item which turned out to be my order. One look at the package told me it didn't contain the item I ordered so I refused to accept delivery. As it was a COD order I wasn't out of pocket and didn't have to try for a refund. Went back and checked the seller's store, no ratings and every item in the store was priced at 350 baht. If I had accepted the item I could hardly blame Lazada as they had informed me via the tracking that the order was cancelled.

Who do you fancy most on tv shows ?

Angie Dickinson in Police Woman. -
I used these two products from Lazada on a badly rusted driveway gate. Used a wire brush to get the loose rust off then painted on the rust treatment and finished off with one coat of the paint. Nearly three years later and it still looks ok. Tried the paint on a section of rusted railings without wire brushing or rust treatment and that now has a bit of rust coming through.

How soon before travel can you apply? If it is taking a long time can you apply 6 months before? Is a flight booking necessary for an application? -
Man charged with raping Ohio girl, 10, who was denied abortion

One of the worst posts I've seen in years. The suggestion that the rape would not have been so bad if it was carried out by a US citizen. -
New regulations for traffic violation notifications

There is no specifically trained police section to deal with traffic? What about the highway patrol police? They even have their own police stations. -
I have two sockets in my car and two USB outlets so no problem if other accessories are used. The sockets are pretty much out of sight below the gear lever so no wires to be seen unless you put your head between your knees. Of course, if I was paying someone to do an installation I would expect a professional job.

Mine uses the cigarette lighter and there are no wires trailing across the dash. The wire goes up behind the glove compartment, tucked in behind the A pillar then tucked under the head lining. All installed in 5 minutes without removing anything. Mine is an Anytek that is 6 years old, battery never really worked for more than a few minutes but camera works fine with the ignition on. Gave up on suction cups and got a little adaptor that attaches to the stem of the rear view mirror.

10 wounded in South Carolina mass shooting, mayor confirms

Saw an interesting statistic a few days ago. More US civilians have been killed by guns since 1970 than all the US soldiers killed in wars since 1776. -
Agreed. Dogs are easy to keep out of your property but it is nigh on impossible to keep cats out. The cats scream during mating time, tear through your plants fighting each other, scratch the paintwork on vehicles, have kittens which take up residence in the engine compartment of your car, kill all the interesting wildlife such as garden lizards and birds and numerous other issues.

Do you actually know you were ripped off? Have you tried to put some fuel in since the incident? I know roughly how much it will cost to fill my tank depending on where the gauge is at the time, how did the attendant know how much fuel your car needed to be filled up? They would look a bit silly if you went in half full and he managed to get a complete tank of fuel into your car.

Bangkok Bank Online 12 Month Bank Statement
alanrchase replied to JamesH's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
My 12 month bank statement issued by BKB that I used in March didn't have any stamps or signatures on it. I was a little concerned that they may not accept it so I attached the receipt I got when I requested it. It was accepted with no questions asked. -
My sister had a single tooth dental implant done at the end of last year in the US and it cost $8,000.

What about the fishing pier? Went down a few months ago and the pier was roped off due to covid. Are they allowing people to fish during the day again?

One clinic I looked at started at about 350,000 per jaw. You don't get a full set of implants, dentures are set onto two to four implants. Some patients may require extra implants. Not sure if the price included extracting old teeth. There are places in Bangkok which give free consultations.
