  4. Nothing surprises me either You need to look closer at how things work here . Same as the beverage business
  5. Never use the stuff . Take a shower and change your clothes regular is enough to keep people moving away from you . I remember living in Norway catching a ferry to work and the stench from the after shave forced me to move often .
  6. I have bought 6 Daikin airconditioners in the last two years . I also get a good price from a small shop in Chiang Mai . Shop is small but have a high turnover . I personally recommend Daikin . They also clean the units one time for free after 12 months
  7. I honestly believe that Thailand is doing there best to strengthen the baht to reduce the cost of oil imports . I just wonder how much longer they can play that game .
  8. I know i can buy cheaper from the wholesalers . But i honestly think its positive to shop locally .

  10. 55 baht to 57 baht is around 3.6 percent If you have a pension that is not indexed then you can have real problems in these inflationary times we find our selves in. Then the beer has risen more like 7 percent over a 12 month period . Most countries have forgotten about the damage inflation can cause in the last 30 years

  18. 200 a month for me. I have always supported the local shop to buy beer. I have no doubt I will continue to do that. I also return the bottles . That is a little extra for the shop keeper
  19. Ha ha, but there are many things about Thai business you don't understand. Beer is an inflated price in Thailand
  20. I am in shock after having to pay 57 baht for a beer instead of 55 baht that has been the same for some years . I wish the politician luck with changing the law on brewing beer in Thailand . If successful it could create more competition and invite lower prices for a overpriced product .
  21. Education is free in some countries , yet they invariably end up with a sizable loan if they have not parents that can support them through there education period .
