  1. Agree, after the first 2 seasons they went woke. Didn't watch any more including the spinoffs.
  2. Only the reporting of it is new.
  3. Sorry, but American BS. Employers need to pay a living wage, not expect their customers to cover their exploitation of their workers.
  4. My devout Christian Brit wife certainly did, and her devout Christian parents did too!
  5. It's way easier for my Thai kids than my Brit kids.
  6. I agree., but I don't think I have that much time left to worry about 'long time'.
  7. The best time ever for me is now! Back in the good old days I was always a bit frustrated by lacking access to sex (even though I was married). And the tech wasn't all that handy either, radio where I had to listen to what the DJ wanted to play, TV where I had to watch what was available on 3 channels that didn't start until 5:30pm. Books that the local library had chosen to stock. Life was all very limited. Today, I can download any movie, TV show, music or books and have as much sex as I could ever imagine all easily available at either no, or little cost.
  8. China is nice, everyone was friendly (as friendly as people with no ability to communicate), one example when I was on the train some rural farm types insisted on sharing their fruit with me, another was when I hunted down a policeman to help me find the bus station (he used his phone translation app), not been to Russia or Japan.
  9. Seeing as a small beer retails at around 30bht, that would be a 360% mark-up (110bht). More if the bar buys at wholesalers.
  10. NZ And Oz want you living in country and see a pension as welfare. UK you pay for your pension around 20% of you salary, but they stop all rises if you move out of country. It's a bit of a mix really, but it does appear with many new regulations (banking, finance, pensions, Brexit, COVID) that the west wants it's old folk to stay home and make retiring overseas as difficult as possible.
  11. As seen in my "cook in sauce" topic, not much cleaning either, and I usually end up doing most of the child care. But loads of sex, so I'm not complaining.
  12. Not since COVID, got back 25mins before they closed BKK.
  13. You assume wrong, I do all my own cooking, and most of my kids cooking. She's no good at all making Brit/Indian/Mexican food which is all me and my kid eat.
  14. None of yours ever responded, so what did you do wrong?
  15. Yes and yes to both but I didn't know them.
  16. You can get a mortgage when over 60? They won't allow that in the UK.
  17. More likely you would have been homeless.
  18. Seems unlikely as you need to be age 13+ to open a Facebook account.
  19. Not sure that's a valid point in this modern age. Hardly any fathers of any age do that these days, too busy working or divorced and prohibited.
  20. You use your real name on Facebook? I don't even tell my friends my real name in person, they don't need to know. (I learned this from Thais whom hardly ever use their real names)
  21. Yes, it's only their husbands they refuse sex.
  22. I know a wealthy Thai lady in a BK prison, same for her, nice apartment style cell, tv, aircon, food ordered in. She pays around 100kbht/month to be there so not even that expensive.
  23. Wonder how many of those ladies were born with a penis?
  24. Amazing Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines. To be honest I blame welfare, when a government provides all, women don't need men for anything.
  25. Same everywhere in the west (excluding France).
