  1. Had to take my wedding ring off 4 years back as my finger joints were too swollen. 3 months after smoking high THC hybrid, I could put it back on. No swelling for 3+ years now. Is that what you consider 'masking the real problem'? If so, I'm OK with that.
  2. An alternative question, Have you tried high THC Indica hybrid? I have absolutely no intention to change from a product I've found so effective. Especially as it's on sale for 30bht/gm.
  3. Would point out smoking high THC cannabis (0.5g/night) has reduced my arthritis pain (finger joints damaged by cold) to nothing, and even the swelling has reduced to normal. Also sends me straight to sleep for 8hrs every night. Can't beat High THC hybrid for medical use. (100% Sativa does nothing for me, has to be 50% or more Indica)
  4. Not sure road bikes are suitable for Mike. Hard on the bum and privates, generally uncomfortable especially for a n00b. S/h MTB is the way to go, far more comfortable to ride, and an easier option for a bit of exercise. As an old person, I've sold a my road bikes, just kept a Giant hybrid and a Merida Matts MTB. You really need a bike with front suspension and wider (comfortable) tires as you get older.
  5. Trek, Giant, Merida .... That's about it. The Decathlon bikes are junk.
  6. Never had much interest in porn of any kind, but I respect your need to view.
  7. Facebook page, secondhand bicycles & used parts Chiang mai.
  8. I would disagree, Criminals are throughout society, in Thailand ALL the top people are criminals.
  9. Cameras are cheap, just secretly record everything in your home 24/7. As for being alone with a women, never had any difficulties, banging them frequently was another matter.
  10. How many mixed race couples do you see in the west? None, yet every bank and insurance advert shows them.
  11. I thought that as well, but after watching the video, no cones/barriers/lights in the road at all. Looks like any motorcyclist could have fallen down it, no matter how careful.
  12. Difference between having no money and not having enough money. All sorts of hoops to jump through before you can rent a place, right to rent, a year's rent in advance if no references, etc. You can't even start claiming a state or occupational pension without an address and a positive credit check at that address. I'd be in the same position as the OP if I returned to the UK. My choices would be live in a van (no insurance, tax or driving licence as no address) or commit a serious crime and live in a nice comfy heated cell. I'm not sure I like either of those 2 options.
  13. Phone 50 pounds, home 200,000 pounds.
  14. Library, drop in centre, church, gym, swimming pool, cafe ...... to name just a few. Local swimming pool is a useful place, access to showers, toilets, sinks, not to mention warm. Was watching a YouTube of middle class American homeless, they sleep in their cars and join a gym or pool for hygiene.
  15. Closing bars and restaurants at 10pm + E3.5/day tourist tax. Might as well holiday in Pattaya!
  16. I knew one American who was run over by his gf, then she reported him to immigration for overstay, and he was arrested and deported while his arm and leg were still in plaster. The gf kept the bar he paid for. But he didn't choose to leave, so I guess that doesn't count.
  17. My parents chose not to waste money on heating their home much. And I followed on by choosing not to waste money on heating my homes in the UK much. And now I choose not to waste money to air condition my home in Thailand. I would have thought this lifestyle would be considered virtuous by modern standards, conserving energy and reducing our carbon footprint.
  18. Heating your home was a luxury, it wasn't required, so the price of fuel wasn't important. It was perfectly acceptable to wear 2 jumpers, or your outdoor coat on particularly cold days. What defined poor back then ....... Not having enough food to eat. Not having anywhere to live. Not being able to afford new shoes or new school uniforms for your kids.
  19. Slightly of topic, When I was a kid we didn't have any central heating, on winter mornings there was ice on the inside of the single glazed windows. We had a coal fire in the living room, and a paraffin heater in the dining room, both used sparingly in the day/evening. Xmas day/Boxing day we would have both rooms heated. None of us died, none of our neighbours died from cold. If you had a roof over your head, there was no problem. So why is it a problem now? PS. We weren't poor, it's just nobody back then thought warming your house 24/7 was important.
  20. How about this one, maybe a little too far out for some ............... so a friend tells me! https://www.the-castle-pattaya.com/map-the-castle-pattaya
  21. Not sure anyone needs heating, sleeping bags work well even outside in the snow.
