  1. Using that logic, almond milk would be for nutters!
  2. BONE has just released 3 TV mini series from the 1990s Noble House (Pierce Brosnan in 1960s Hong Kong) Gormenghast (Warren Mitchell period drama/fantasy) Neverwhere (urban fantasy under London) Available on the usual sites, all worth watching.
  3. Kids seem to like Interactive displays in Science Museum The Mummys in the British Museum The dinosaurs in the Natural History Museum
  4. I had 4 kids back in the UK, none vaccinated, none died yet (currently aged 22-40). But one born in Thailand vaccinated with MMR without my consent, immediately developed signs of autism (sitting alone with repetitive hand motions), which luckily faded after around 5 years
  5. Cannabis at 5bht/gm ........ how much in Australia? 3 bedroom house in gated community 2Mbht ....... how much in Australia? Wife 10kbht/month ........ how much in Australia?
  6. But that's not accurate, this study says 'extraordinarily low' but not zero https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK236284/ "Conclusion The evidence establishes a causal relation between vaccine-strain measles virus infection and death. The conclusion is based on case reports in immunocompromised individuals and not on controlled studies. No relative risk can be calculated. However, the risk of death from measles vaccine-strain infection would seem to be extraordinarily low. The evidence establishes a causal relation between MMR and death from complications associated with severe thrombocytopenia. The evidence establishes a causal relation between MMR and death from anaphylaxis. There is no direct evidence for this; the conclusion is based on the potential of severe thrombocytopenia and anaphylaxis to be fatal. The risk would seem to be extraordinarily low. The evidence favors acceptance of a causal relation between measles vaccine and death from anaphylaxis. There is no direct evidence for this; the conclusion is based on the potential of anaphylaxis to be fatal. The risk would seem to be extraordinarily low."
  7. How many would have died from MMR vaccine related causes if all the children had been vaccinated? You'd need a study of MMR vaccine death Vs Measles deaths before being able to make any sensible choice, but sadly no such study is available.
  8. Only sat in one and looked around so far, at least one Thai in my village has one. Seemed fine to me, big enough for my 6' to sit and drive. In the road they look like any other of the smaller 4 door ICE hatchbacks. I might buy one new or 1 year old.
  9. I don't give anyone advice, you'll have to pay for it!
  10. And in Thailand my average annual energy bill is under 3,600bht (less than 100GBP).
  11. The crime was removing the girl from her parents, not banging her. He would have been OK if she hadn't done a sleepover.
  12. Unidentified name and nationality according to the report. So Burmese/Cambodian/Thai/Laos.
  13. I'm guessing he's had plenty of experience of dealing with the elderly after marrying his mom!
  14. You pick out the fruit you want and put it in the bag. This has always been the way the Thai markets work.
  15. Romance and flirting! Once you're living in a LTR the romance and flirting is out the window. But out with a pal last night in Loi Khro I had a really pretty 25 year old playing connect 4 with me while feeling my leg, then later in the evening a slim 48 year old telling me all about her life in a Lisu village and how the bar pays her no wage, just 90bht for each lady drink. Sometimes it's nice to have one a much younger woman pretending you're attractive to her. Ps. LK is currently packed with young and attractive women in many of the bars. It's quite extraordinary!
  16. Judge said 5-10 years (which I thought was a bit harsh). And with a criminal record, he'll never work for the government again. (Pure speculation on my part, as I didn't understand most of what was going on).
  17. That's why sentencing is in May, no money paid gets him 2x jail time. Not actually a win for me as it was the public prosecutor Vs him (not me Vs him), I was just a witness to his crime).
  18. Judge ordered him to pay 200kbht to me in compensation, then return to court in May for sentencing (which I play no part in, and am not required to attend). I was paid 300bht cash for attending as a witness, and had to sign a form agreeing to taking no further litigation in the matter. All proceedings in Thai, they ignored me and just talked with my wife, who doesn't really pass on much to me. Filling out the forms for the compensation payment by bank transfer took twice as long as the court hearing, and was equally incomprehensible. Surprised really, as I expected nothing, and only filled out the police report to get the government minimum m/c insurance to pay my hospital bills.
  19. Google translate says "causing serious bodily harm" Which I then equate to GBH in a British court.
  20. Serious bodily harm is a criminal offence, not up to the police or me what happens.
  21. Neta v, 450kbht new, 300kbht 1 year old, hardly expensive!
  22. Update Sitting outside the courtroom right now, not really sure what's going on, will find out soon. Hopefully this will be the end of it.
  23. I use Dairy Rich for all that needs milk. It's fine.
