Noticed my solar inverter was charging the batteries a bit slower and my peak output had dropped. I had 10x 345w panels from assorted manufacturers. So I disconnected them all and ran them through a 1000w Suoer GTI one at a time. One Blueltech (3,300bht) panel had completely failed, 0w, 0A and it was dragging my string output down at least 350w, maybe more. Another Bluetech panel was severely corroded in one corner, but still seems to work (both purchased in 2022). Two other Bluetech panels appear fine, all the other manufacturers no problem. Glad my panels aren't on the roof, that would be impossible to check. Now in contact with BlueTech, asking if they want to do something about it (10 year warranty). Pulled the 2x Bluetech panels out, added a Rapid 580W (2,300bht) bifacial mono split. Back to normal. The 580w panel should only give me 400w as it's in a 345w string, which is what's happening. Bought another Rapid 580w for 2,100bht ......... prices on panels are the lowest ever. Battery now full at 12:30 (previously it was 13:30). Corroded Bluetech panel, it still works. This looks a little unbalanced.

British husband of the Thai ‘Lady of the Hills’ bailed - video
BritManToo replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
And mine (and abducted my 2 children and dog at the same time), I did try to report it to the police but the desk sergeant told me to "go away and grow some balls" This was in 2009, never seen any of them since, I really miss that dog. -
British husband of the Thai ‘Lady of the Hills’ bailed - video

They're still not even sure she was murdered! "Although a post-mortem examination narrowed her death to a period of one to three weeks before her discovery, the precise cause remained elusive." -
I was under the impression Thailand embalms before shipping. Am I wrong?

I've always found this 'wanting the body' shipped back an odd idea. Hardly anyone buries bodies in the UK these days, it's always burn and urn. So why not burn it in Thailand and just ship the ashes?

Are high end smartphones worth the money (to you)?
BritManToo replied to impulse's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Have you had it out on your m/c in the bike holder? Phone overheating is almost always a problem with the phone case or holder. Have you tried your cheap phone without the cheap plastic case around it? -
Pregnant Thai woman accuses husband of domestic violence
BritManToo replied to snoop1130's topic in Eastern Thailand News
Doesn't seem to be violence when she says 'yes'. Odd she would then marry him, knowing he was violent when refused. For her next husband she should make sure he's happy to marry her but she doesn't want sex (in advance). OK I can see the problem with that! -

Same for every make of phone out in the hot sun with a case on it. Move it to the shade, take off the plastic case! -

I use Redmi 12c and 13c, (android 14) they cost around 2700bht each. Not sure what extra features a more expensive phone could do? Give me a clue please? -

As far as I can see most AN members think she shouldn't get anything. Which none of them claim is a 'legal opinion'. -

Air Fryers: Your New Kitchen Companion ?
BritManToo replied to CharlieH's topic in Western Food in Thailand
Agree, I have 2 air fryers so I can cook steak and chips. They are completely useless for cooking more than one food item. Even then it's hard to fit in more than enough for me and my kid. Really good for cooking sausages, steaks, gammon and no need to watch it. -

"they are likely" isn't the same as "they will". Not to mention this is all post Brexit government policy, so only the last 4 years count. You've gotta ask yourself ......... Do you feel lucky? -
Attempt to understand high EV insurance cost
BritManToo replied to 4myr's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Neta V (430kbht) 1st class insurance from most companies 20,000bht (380kbht), insurance from Roojai 9,000bht (but only for 200kbht). The government minimum is still the same as an ICE car 800bht(ish). No real need for more than government minimum, pay any more and your fuel savings have gone. -
