I think foreign troublemakers should be removed from Western countries. Trump is doing a great job, and I imagine the citizens that voted for him are happy with his actions.

BKK Bank due by April 30th?
BritManToo replied to Djinn91's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Went to DTaC ......... SIM in wife's name, can't change name without wife there. Went to Bangkok Bank ......... can't update details, needs to be home branch. Pointed out the message in my non working app says 'any branch' Passport number wrong ......... no that's my passport number from 2005, I've already updated it once or twice with BKB but the data doesn't seem to stick. Pointed out they've been issuing me new cards and bank books along with immigration letters for the last 9 years using my current passport (almost run out now), and I had my 9 years out of date passport with me. Somehow their cannot became can, can't believe how lazy the bank staff are! 45 minutes later and a tree worth of photo copies, my hand hurts from the 100 signatures. New ATM card, new passbook, phone banking still not working. -
Happy Easter - News? Movies? Not very evident..
BritManToo replied to ronnie50's topic in Political Soapbox
I forgot all about Easter. Not even one Cadburys Cream Egg! -
The selection is huge, about 20 meat dishes including sliced ham, roast chicken, fish in breadcrumbs, three types of sausage, meatballs, veal. Then about 6 types of bread rolls, sliced breads, cakes, fruit pies, fresh fruits, cold meats, 10 flavours of ice cream, assorted vegetables and salads, tea and coffee.

You were all right, and I was wrong. It kept coming back and was ringworm. Five months later .......... 20 days on broad spectrum antifungal pills, no alcohol or weed. Seems to be going ..... Finally!

Baked beans on toast for breakfast. Hot dogs with mustard for lunch. -
Breakfasts were always good. Staff a bit grumpy.

Enjoy the smell of cannabis from the Jungle bar next door, where everyone is smoking, and the cannabis shop below.

Behind the fatal Trump flaw MAGA can't even defend
BritManToo replied to simple1's topic in Political Soapbox
Yeah, maybe they should forget all their Trump hate, and learn to choose better candidates. -
I don't think any of that demonstrates a real man, they sound like soft lads to me.

When I used to do time trials cycling from the zoo to Doi suthep, I was ranked around 700th against men, but I was in the top 10 women.

Complete nonsense as usual. How much anyone is paid is irrelevant. Junior staff serve senior staff in whatever ways they can. When I was a new graduate, I had no problems making tea for everyone else or collecting breakfasts from the local cafe.

Most secretaries in the west make their bosses tea and coffee, how is it different? Back in London my PA made me drinks, went out to get me coffee and sandwiches all the time.

You spend lots of cash on breakfast?

Dollar seen as risky currency status alert
BritManToo replied to 3NUMBAS's topic in Political Soapbox
Value of a currency isn't based on manufacturing. If it were, Cambodia, Vietnam, India and China would be the top dogs. -
Dollar seen as risky currency status alert
BritManToo replied to 3NUMBAS's topic in Political Soapbox
AUD is the weakest western currency in the world, dropped 33% in the last 10 years against the Baht. No idea why because it has lots of land, farming and minerals. GBP has only dropped 12% in that same time. No idea why either, would have thought it would have dropped much more.
