You gotta die of something!

I've managed 15, sometimes the pollution is 2 months, sometimes it stretches to 3 months. I actually prefer smog to rain as the smog doesn't stop me cycling everyday.

Hit and run got me, I'm all broken!

But compensation money also reduces the jail time. I'd prefer my attacker to get maximum jail time. I don't believe the rich should be allowed to buy their way out of jail.- 372 replies

I ain't giving them my email to read the story ......... spam me! But I'm happy enough here, plenty of foreign restaurants and expat food suppliers, and the cycling is great.

I have no expectations of any compensation. The Prosecutor already told us he doesn't deal with compensation and I would need to hire a private lawyer if I wanted that, can't say I'm all that bothered about money. I'm just happy to have recovered with only minor ongoing injuries, collarbone still hurts off and on, a bit less lung capacity than I had before the accident, and some nasty scars mainly on my right leg. Arm/shoulder is good enough for most day to day living, but I won't be playing golf or swimming much as it hurts to forcefully swing my right arm. The first 8-10 months after the accident was a little hard for me, but generally I'm OK now. -

Small update after 1 year, Was in court, no expense for me (so far), case brought by the Public prosecutor against my attacker. Charge was listed as "Causing serious bodily harm to another person" (Google translate) posted on the courtroom door. Didn't really know what was happening as nobody spoke to me and it was all in Thai. All the talk was between the Judge, Public prosecutor, my attacker and his lawyer. Need to turn up again in a month or two.- 372 replies

Hysteria full season 1 out now. A high school metal band take advantage of satanic events happening in their 1980s small town. Quite entertaining so far, I've watched 4 out of 8 episodes. -

This is the area I like, many hotels to choose from, airport bus stop is close. https://maps.app.goo.gl/vJwXkxTtqwr7yGQE7 Think the airport bus costs $2-3 per person. -

Evening walking food tour, well worth the price. Daytime cultural walking tour if you like a bit of history. Train trip to Ninh Binh, then the rowing boat trip at Tam Coc and the walk around Hang Mua. -
Or spend under 650kbht a year in Thailand and only risk a tax liability of 3kbht. (Personal allowance + wife's personal allowance + over 60s allowance + child in school allowance + pension income allowance + 2% tax rate on first 150kbht of taxable income) That's if they even bother to try and tax retired foreigners living in Thailand, which I seriously doubt will ever happen.

You're forgetting VAT on almost everything, business tax, and import duties on anything from the western world. -
Banana IT sells on Lazada so the answer is yes (if ordered via Lazada).

I'm guessing he didn't buy on the monthly sale day, so the price would be 38kbht instead of 23kbht.

But Canada is even colder than the UK. I don't want to live in either place (or Serbia for that matter).

If you have Netflix you'll be happy to hear Google TV allows you to search and watch Netflix using voice commands. For example, OK Google play Aliens, will play the movie right away.

75P635 Mine is the normal LCD TV (16k5), yours is the QLED version (23k2). I sit right in front of mine so I don't need the wider QLED viewing angle, and my blacks are black enough. Apart from that specs are almost identical. Made my android google tv box redundant as I can run DS Video direct on the TV and it integrates seamlessly with my Synology NAS.

Nah, you either didn't collect the free shipping voucher, or you didn't order using the Lazada app on your phone.

Off topic, Paid 16,500bht for my TCL 75" google tv (Lazada sale day) and it's the best tv I've ever owned.
