  1. Can I buy this in Thailand, if so where please.
  2. Yeah I'd love to go back up there again and visit you. Did a bit of MTXing up around there and along the boarder when just dirt roads. How did you go with all the rain?
  3. Hello. Since before Thai New Year I had the flu that turned into pneumonia. 1 week in the local village hospital, antibiotics etc. So now still have lingering lung issues and would like a recommendation to see a lung specialist at KKU after-hours-clinic. The local hospital was OK but I feel their old x-ray machine may not show all the problems and due to lack of beds they transfered me from emergency into the stroke ward with 7 others recovering from strokes and there am I coughing up toenails day and night, so stroke people (and me) unhappy. Plus hot and sweaty and they only turned the aircon on for 2 hours at 2 pm. Just like another opinion.
  4. @Sheryl I would say you are correct about the name. 🙂
  5. Pattaya Bankok Hospital in Pattaya. We live in Isaan now and she didn't know we drove 900km for her appointment, she thought we were still in Bangkok and Pattaya (had our weekender in Pattaya but initially worked in Bangkok). When she knew she arranged all test and operation for that day. Very nice of her. If you want to know more I could ask Sup to give your wife a ring. 🙂
  6. If you're still interested, Dr Natapong. She's a no-nonsence gyno. About 20 years ago my wife had a major internal prolapse which Dr Natapong successfully repaired and wifey has been seeing her for checkups ever since. This year had another op for thickening skin down there. (Which could have lead to cancer) Successful. So we think she's great.
  7. I still get one sometimes and I'm nearly 80, but I'm Aussie and a used to be hansum man.
  8. Just read some info. on Metal Oxide Varisters (MOV's) recommending a fuse must be installed with a MOV to prevent fires. "It's crucial to include a fuse in series with the MOV. If the MOV experiences a short circuit due to a surge, the fuse will blow, preventing further damage to the circuit." Ai.
  9. You could buy some Stabalizers/Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVRs). I have 3 phase supply and 3 AVRs or one on each incoming phase. Read the AVR specs. Should say 160v to 310v or something like that. So if the incoming voltage is 160v your house should have 220v from the AVR that feeds the house or Consumer Unit. I like the LION brand of AVR and I see they are now back in stock at our Global House. They now have a single 3 phase unit. Pictures are of my AVRs. One failed last year so bough that orange one. You can see from the 2nd picture the voltage readings, 231v incoming regulated to 220v. Trouble with a phase protector (can set the upper and lower voltage) is if all phases are low or just on the boarder of low or high, it could be switching the protected item ON/OFF all the time, even though you can set a delay period before switching. That was the problem I had with the feed to my pool pump; ON then OFF, ON then OFF.
  10. One fine pre-run we were gathered and a girl was in the bar with a DIRT ROAD shirt on. Some crazy Aussie bricklayer decided to take the shirt off her. That went well!
  11. Was I the only one who saw that big green pool of water where the bombs hit? What's going to live under that? By the untrained eye look no collapse of earth at top but 4 of those high power bombs must have caused big problems underground.
  12. How can we believe anything? Those bombs must have created huge underground collapses....but .....
  13. @motdaeng pmoff too. Have you tried Apple Car Play or just Android Auto? This is a question without much thought as I haven't really been trying to find a fix. Just wondering if you use Maps in Android Auto or Apple Car Play if the maps gives different results. My Android Auto Maps can never take me Home. Wants to go down all these streets that don't go home.
  14. If I want to book a place for 2 in Ko Chang for 2 weeks around December, how do I find and make use of the scheme?
  15. I had some entitled woman really look at my dirt shirt, then gave me a dirty look. 🙂
  16. They need lots of help.
  17. Question: If you live in a gated community, PEA won't install connections?
  18. Can't see a problem why you can't connect your system to the grid as long as you already have the approved PEA inverters and connection setup. Sometimes you can get PEA workers to do the job 'after hours' that can smooth the way.
