No, land office are usually good. Had several dealings with the land office and they don't worry about Falangs as any titles etc. are a Thai domain. My Thai wife usually contributes to their pension fund when we visit. 🙂

No don't do that. The system works well. Anytime I don't get notification for a submitted online notification, I just ring the Changwat office and they fix it.

@Andrew Dwyer Re SIM Card post and 'all good now'; what magic did you do? AND did you see the posts on a Thai BYD site (sorry I keep forgetting to take the reference) about installing a spacer on the rear wheel hub...something about wheel not seating properly. Also replacing the shocks. These seem to be one off posts from owners not BYD. I suppose if you are a teenager at heart you may want to harden up the ride and change the shocks. Maybe the Sealion 7 will become a cult car like the Mustang or Sunbeam Alpine (my first sports car)? I hear 'SHAME' coming from the ICE V8 brigade.

In Soi Post-office many years ago, I saw a Falang walking along the sidewalk get hung up on some ropes coming from the food vendors carts. He caught them around his neck and got angry and started pulling them all down until a food vendor chased him with a large knife. He ran into the HASH bar I was drinking at...none of the Falangs in the bar were going to help him. If you want to cause trouble with the food vendors then you sort out the problem.

I agree, see a urologist. Preferable one recommended by Sheryl on The Health Forum. I think an experienced urologist can do all the blood and urine tests, then check with his finger any irregularities with the prostrate. With me the urologist said the problem with the prostrate is usually 1 of 3 things. For me it was a burning sensation that did not show up as an infection on any tests but from the urologists experience he thought low grade infection that is difficult to treat, so antibiotics for a month to start with then a flow test.

I think that is going to be a problem for me also as I have 2 3 phase multi-point water heaters. From memory I think one draws 11 A / phase when on the 'hot' setting. That would be 22A per phase if both units are on plus anything else. Maybe best to route the heaters wiring only from the grid, but for my place, a difficult wiring modification. Can I contact you to find out more about your inverter as this is someone else's thread?

I see, so that would be a normal safety feature of the inverter. So the trick would be to never draw more from the inverter (on its own) that it is rated to deliver without the grid? Do you like the brand of inverter you have?

Thanks for the reply. I just wondered why you chose that brand inverter and why you didn't install 3 single phase inverters. I have seen some reports of trouble with a combined 3 phase inverter if the phases are not balanced.

@cokwise off topic, but, I'd like to pick your brain a bit about your 3 phase inverter installation. I hope to install a 3 phase inverter ++ this year. I will need some help and was hoping with help from this forum I could do it. I don't see a place to PM you for some questions. How can I contact you (that's if you don't mind).
