  1. Lol a little bit cooler here in my house in Nongprue East Pattaya but still not bad. I can still sit on my veranda outside with no shirt on and inside the fans are on setting 1 rather than setting 2. At night in the bedroom air con still on its normal 23° setting.
  2. Does it really matter. I had a quick read and could have listed all the reasons why he could have avoided this situation. When travelling abroad at this time especially to Thailand you have to know what you are doing and be ready to react if something goes amiss. This guy clearly did not have a clue and regretfully I have come to the same conclusion that he is an idiot. There you go Richard I have wasted more time replying to your comment than I would have if I had the energy to do to the original post last night. Yawn yawn
  3. Its very clear on gov.uk. Approved vaccinations - PCR test on arrival or on day 2 booked online before flying. Passenger Locator Form Filled out within 48 hours of flight and PCR booking ref entered on PLF. Not Vaacinated - Any recognised Covid test before departure. 10 days home isolation, PCR test on days 2 and 8 booked online before flying. Option to take a test to release PCR test on day 5 for an extra fee, Passenger Locator Form Filled out within 48 hours of flight and PCR booking ref entered on PLF.
  4. Others have answered your question. 2 other points (1) Print it out 100% (2) Make sure the lab report is in English
  5. You are not very smart are you Bill. This topic is about Dog shi* its disgusting. The other issues you speak about yes are far more important but irrelevant to this topic.
  6. You still dont understand. Are you able to enter the UK from the African country you are in? (1) For vaccinated people. No pre flight Covid test only a PCR test on arrival or before day 2, PLF to be filled out. (2) If un vaccinated Covid test before departure, 10 days isolation and tests on days 2 and 8, PLF to be filled out (3) If your African country is on UK red list its 10 days hotel quarantine.
  7. Why do you keep confusing the issue and keep referring to people dumping rubbish. Although that is a massive problem I am trying to highlight the disgusting people who do not pick up their dogs mess. Do they let their dog sh*t on their sofa? I assume not, so why allow it to do so on the beach
  8. I quoted and was referring to your plan to go to the UK first, not Thailand. You need to check the UK requirements from Africa
  9. You need to double check requirements from the African country you are flying from as you havnt said. South Africa for example is 10 days hotel quarantine
  10. I agree with everything you say thats why I started the topic. I am a responsible dog owner and always keep my dog on a lead everywhere and always clear up its mess. We carry bags to do so. I see many kids running along the beach at Jomtien and its not fair to expose them to it. Those posters trying to compare plastics, glass and litter on the beach are missing the point. These again are examples of bad behaviour by people by leaving their rubbish on the beach and elsewhere. I cannot believe the attitudes of some people. What gives you the right to leave dog shi* and other rubbish behind. All it does is show what type of person you are.
  11. In addition if you look at this facebook group and search "insurance length" you will see endless examples of people needing insurance for the length of their visa. https://www.facebook.com/groups/551797439092744/?ref=share
  12. Then you are as filthy and disgusting as the one I see. Pick it up for heavens sake.
  13. Oh come off it pal, I dont live in an area where the Thai's let their dogs mess everywhere. As a responsible dog owner I clear up my dogs mess and would not dream of leaving it. Would this happen in the western world of course it wasnt. The Farang guy is disgusting and its right on a populated beach where people swim and children play. I feel like picking up and smearing it all over his car door handles.
  14. I am sorry I have not seen such posts and I can assure you that the rule is that you have to have insurance for your period of stay. In fact it is checked at application, it certainly was for the COE. I have seen many examples on the facebook groups where people have had to buy insurance in line with their visa status for 1 to get the COE (not sure about Thailand Pass) and 2 to satisfy immigration on entry. I know Sandy F posted he was stamped in earlier, I wonder how this happened and how he got his COE without meeting the requirements.
  15. A bit overweight dog medium size. I see him many times and they always let the dog walk off the lead and s**t. We always carry plastic bags and clear up. No excuse for it. His place must the the same disgraceful
  16. AseanNow is great for visa advice via UJ but its not the best for this type of advice. So I am not up to date with any misinformation stated. However if you want to follow any of the following groups to educate yourself please feel free https://www.facebook.com/groups/551797439092744/?ref=share https://www.facebook.com/groups/272003337395576/?ref=share https://www.facebook.com/groups/275821990252759/?ref=share
  17. I feel assamed when I see this Farang walking his Dog along with his Thai lady on Dongtan Beach Jomtien. Twice now I have seen the dog do its business alongside the waters edge in full view of them. They made no effort to clear up the dog s**t. Disgraceful. I do have photos of him but I am doubtful if posting them on here is the right thing to do. By the way I have a dog and would never do that.
  18. Stated with 100% confidence after a year advising on the 3 main Facebook help groups. RB only stated that its not written anywhere. I can assure you from many many examples that If you have an OA, OX, STV and extension of stay based on Retirement/Marriage or even a Tourist Visa. You will only be stamped into Thailand until the end of the validity of your insurance. So even if you have an extension of stay that has a valid permission to stay for a further 9 months, if you only buy 1 month or 3 months Covid insurance you will only be stamped in for this period. Its particularly important with an OA when someone leaves and re enters to get the 2nd year, you need valid OA and Covid insurance to be stamped in for another 12 months. This has been discussed and proved to be correct over and over again on the Facebook Helpgroups.
  19. I disagree. No loophole. He has 30 days insurance and he will be stamped in for 30 days. The type of visa is irrelevant.
  20. For anyone living in the Pattaya area. I have TMN cable TV which before had Fox Sports 1,2 and 3. Just found out I can now get F1 on Astro Supersport 5, so all good for me.
  21. They get hauled away into hospital and you are not allowed to go with them. This happened to a daughter (Thai/English mix) of a friend of mine who live here. His daughter is 3 years old. It was lucky a relation was in the same hospital and could be with her. A nightmare scenario, dont take the risk.
