  1. New JenaValve Trilogy bionic implant has a metal frame and a valve from a pig The last few months there has been a team of surgeons pioneering the device at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London with the new "Jenavalve". It is designed to treat aortic regurgitation, (a leaky heart valve) and this invention is a real game changer-- it uses the pigs valve, which has been used for sometime but with a new metal frame which adjusts to the size required, and it does this with no open heart sugary, while your awake and in 1 hour. Its all over the internet at the moment-- but their site is below...or the easy reading news report from Daily mail below that. It Interest me a lot-because its my problem--& I just wondered on what Sheryl's opinion would be re the time length for this sort change in sugary to take affect in Thailand. https://jenavalve.com/ https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-10975791/Bionic-valve-spare-heart-patients-major-surgery.html

  3. I am renovating 3 townhouses my wife has--it wont be to the standard you are doing-- In ISSAN that would be a dream, unless I brought guys up from BKK, & the extra price would not warrant it, but they will be to the standard of all the housing around here, which I think is good--they are very close to the center of town 2 bed/2 BR..2 floors--so here they will sell for about $us30k. I think what I have learnt doing different building/Reno's in Thailand is that, I ask for quote on labor only. A lot of the stuff they are saying they need--I can get 15-sometimes even 20% less then what they would have put in the "all in Price" & importantly where I do need a quality component--I know I have got it, not a lower one & been charged. ..it's also easy to work what they expect to be paid by dividing the days they say the job will take by the labor only quote. This might all be irrelevant to your project--- so good luck with it, there is always a fair amount of heart burn in Thailand doing anything like this---so Jai yen yen ????.
  4. Not rubbish Thailand again... Gosh I wish you had taken 100 ASEAN hand picked posters with you ............................
  5. 4 years............. I wonder what took Bristol so long.....

  7. Mystery Road: Origin......Australia-ABC TV--July 3......Crime/Drama.........6 episodes --All out--IMDB 7.9...RARBG..& others This is part of the Mystery Road series---there was one out 3 years ago and another 2013.--connected but not the same.
  8. Now I live in Issan--Udon Thani, but when I first come --I done the usual Party hard--6 years Pattaya BKK & wandered around--you had to leave the country every 90 days back then, so it was good to pick another place to go..... .. People used to tell me that Issan is a whole different scene, it is--women..yes plenty-just a different set up, if your anywhere near a border even better--Udon of course is near to Lao's-- some knock out looking girls there- getting a passport is difficult & expensive for them, so you dont see many of them much in the bar scene down Pattaya/BKK way...unless their illegal. but for border towns they are allowed to wander across --just as Thais are allowed to the other way...just not allowed to travel far from the border. I guess it is the same if near Myanmar/Cambo.
  9. I think most people are apprehensive about making the move-- Living in Oz I knew I wanted to settle in Asia, just wasn't sure just where. Took some time & tried to stay in each country a month at a time (didn't always succeed) . This was in the late 90s so much has changed. I look at them & Thailand now -as I get older infrastructure means a lot--I think the choice would be the same.
  10. Thailand just 85 miles from China border----- do you think need a high speed train for that.....
