  1. This is what the TDAC kiosks at Suvarnabhumi airport (BKK) look like for use foreigners who didn't do the TDAC before their arrival. Photo copied from a post in the Thailand News forum.
  2. Tell the immigration official you entered the data on the TDAC kiosk, and he will know what to do
  3. This topic is exclusively above how to get a TIN (Tax Identification Number) It is not about the requirement — or the lack of it — to pay taxes. There are several other topics discussing this. Further off-topic post will be removed without a public notice. If a post disappears, it is for the reason indicated above.
  4. Removed an off-topic post about getting a visa from the Thai embassy in the Netherlands and another about "the late billioaire media mogul in Australia"
  5. The facts: 1. The DTV is an elcronic visa (eVisa). 2. An eVisa is not a stamp or a sticker in the passport and therefore, there is no visa to "transfer" from the old to the new passport. 3. If the passport holder submits the form ขอให้ย้ายตราประทับลงในหนังสือเดินทางเล่มใหม่ TRANSFER STAMP TO NEW PASSPORT to the local immigration office with the required documents, the immigration official places a stamp into the new passport with information linking the new passport to the old passport. In addition, where applicable, visa information and some immigration stamps are copied from the old passport to the new passport. Thereafter, the passport holder no longer needs to carry both passports to travel; the new passport and, where applicable, a printout of the eVisa suffice.
  6. We are talking about the UK and as far as I know, the law has not changed recently. In a case where a local council used a women's quota for the composition of its committee, the Supreme Court ruled that a so-called trans woman or transgender woman could not, on the basis of existing laws, be counted as part of the women's quota because the qualifying criterion must be the sex assigned at birth. The question of the legality of counting a transgender woman as a woman in sports events was not touched upon in this court decision. Currently, from what I have read, different sports organisation use different criteria for allowing transgender persons to participate in competitions limited to members of a specific sex. The news article quoted iin the OP does not mention what criteria are used by the organisers of the London Marathon. For this reason, I consider a discussion of this topic to be futile.
  7. There are other ways aside the phone to do the TDAC.
  8. 24 May plus six months is 24 November. On the date of arrival in Thailand, your passport will have a remaining validity of six months and 22 days.
  9. Yes, the OP's girlfriend and daughter can go through the fast lane at BKK, if they meet the criteria outlined by the airport authority. https://suvarnabhumi.airportthai.co.th/service/facility/detail/820
  10. Already discussed and clarified in this topic: See this post, for example: https://aseannow.com/topic/1358135-thailand-digital-arrival-card-tdac/#findComment-19741392 No new topic needed for it.
  11. No amendment of the current Immigration Act would be needed.
  12. Removed an off-topic post about how the poster would design the form.
  13. No. With the the current design of the form, it could not and would not be a problem.
  14. There is also this topic about the passport use by dual nationals: https://aseannow.com/topic/1305176-immigration-news-for-all-thai-dual-citizens/?do=findComment&comment=18315531
  15. Why not use the Thai passport and name for buying the ticket and enter Thailand as a Thai citizen, using the automatic gates? No TDAC and boarding pass necessary for Thai immigration.
  16. Thank you. That's interesting. An immigration fine of 2,000 Bath, with receipt, for the late submission of the TM.30 notification is irregular. If your wife still has the receipt, it would interest me to know exactly what reason for the fine is shown, in Thai, on the receipt.
  17. Leaving any required field stops me from proceeding to the next page. Source: https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/tac/arrival-card/add In the example above, I failed to fill in the fields "*City/State of Residence" and "* Phone No.", then clicked on the button "Continue" and got the pop-up message "No data or Insufficient data" Regarding your question "what fields do you have to leave blank", the answer is "none, but I am free to leave any and all fields without a red asterisk blank. As another member has suggested, the TDAC site is already up and running for you to try it out, even if you do not intend to arrive in Thailand within the next three days.
  18. Your choice of the terms "What they want to know" and "is asked for" are unfortunate, as they do not provide full clarity. The TDAC form has essentially two types of fields: Fields that require the entry of data or the selection of an item from a pop-up list. If such a field is left blank, I cannot proceed to the next page. These fields are marked with a red asterisk. Fields for which data entry is not required. I can proceed to the next page even if I leave such a field blank. The field "Visa" is an example of such a field for which data entry is optional: regardless of whether or not I enter data in it, I can proceed with data entry into subsequent fields. These fields are not marked with an asterisk.
  19. As I wrote in the post you quoted: Leave the field blank.
  20. Anyone with a pioneering spirit arriving in Thailand already before the official launch date of 1 May 2025 can do the TDAC within three days prior to and including the entry date and surprise the immigration official with it, ie with the printout of the PDF document you get by email within minutes of submitting the data. Then keep it as a memento of your adventure.
  21. Correct. There are some news stories that got it all wrong, and also the immigration website in one instance I saw today.
  22. The TDAC is not about the foreigners living in Thailand. It is about inputting and managing the data relating to the arriving foreigners' travel travel to Thailand. The immigration officials will have less checking and typing to do and this will hopefully speed up immigration clearance.
  23. Removed some more off-topic posts, abusive posts, posts with false information, and the replies to them.
