Such a nonsense. What has that to do with a racing event -
Minister Pushes for Bangkok F1 Race Plan with 2024 Deadline
CLW replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
To all the Thai bashers, since years Thailand holds two race events with FIA safety standards and great safety records. Bang Saen street circuit (GT car race) and Buriram (Moto GP). Better do some research before just the usual bashing- 95 replies

Feel sorry for AN posters who bought electric
CLW replied to Celsius's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
The market creates the second hand value and nothing else. Of course you can use some lists or calculations or whatever. But in the end you need to make a price that someone is willing to buy your car. -

What a nonsense. Car prices decline for ICE and EV cars. -

This (residency requirement) could be really only Thailand-related and one of the things a western foreigner will never understand.... I have been and still travelling often and rarely heard of such requirements. I lost count of how many visas I applied for other countries while not being in my home country or had to show proof I am residing there
-
So with the transition to e-visa application at most embassies of neighboring countries I am wondering if they still accept your application even if not apply from your origin (passport) country ?? It would make things very difficult and costly. Example: American who lived for years in Thailand and currently staying here would have to fly back to the states for e-visa application and to fulfill the requirements of matching flight data and submit a proof of residence.

One can probably never find the answer what is healthy or not. You see, the AI suggests Canola Oil at 4th place and Coconut oil 3rd. Experts or wannabe-experts on YouTube might not agree with this. What seems consistently is Olive Oil and Avocado Oil in top tier rankings (scientific research and social media experts)

Do you realize that not all streetfood is fried or dripping in oil ? What about those rice with topping restaurants or noodle soup of any kind?

7-Eleven Introduces Convenient PromptPay QR Code Payments Nationwide
CLW replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I think True Wallet is just existing because of people using it at 7-11 and maybe pay bills for true phone / internet bills. Other than that I have never heard of any advantage to main banking apps -
Nice car but the first thing I would do is to remove that ridiculous front grille with "Riddara" to the one in the lower picture with a straight grille and also no "Radar" letters on the hood

7-Eleven Introduces Convenient PromptPay QR Code Payments Nationwide
CLW replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yes, I get that. But some posters complained about the slow cashier queue with QR payment, regardless it is promptpay or true wallet. And also regardless it is a Thai person or foreigner -
How to apply for DTV based in Thailand? Usually one would apply in their home country or via e-visa-system, right? But I do not have any documents showing I am currently registered or residing there. The reason is, when I moved to Thailand 11 years ago I delisted from the local registry. How to do ? Just the usual flight to KL and try to apply at the embassy with all required documents such as proof of remote work, bank statement, etc. Last time I was at the KL embassy for another type of visa extension and the DTV just started, I heard many conversations with the staff and applicants "Why do you not apply in your home country" and they were sent away.....

You could say the same for True Wallet scan which has been around for years. Yes, for some people it takes longer but it is really convenient that you do not have to carry cash or visit ATM in front of 7-11. I think it a progress -
I have now six cats and all are adopted strays. Vaccinated and neutered. I also started to neuter stray cats around my neighbourhood or cats with Thai owners that don't give a f about controlling the population.

Proper cleaning every three months by service company. Monthly cleaning by replacing the pre filters from 3M and wash the screens. We have cats inside the house, hence the short interval. You won't believe how much dust and hairs stuck in the screen. Even with twice daily floor cleaning

As others already suggested, buy a tower fan. Cleaning is no issue. You can take out the fan rotor and wash it. It is similar to the fan inside your A/C unit.

In case of the Turkish guy. No salary but still charged for working without a work permit? So you can't even clean a friend's business as a favour now ???

In Thai language forums there are rumours that the sudden closure was due to an issue with the franchisee (to high fees or not wanting to extend the contract). And that the branches are reopening soon under own concept from PTTOR with fried chicken Thai style. Whatever that means...

New travel rules: Thailand’s ETA to shake up visa-free visitors
CLW replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I'd rather let an electronic system decide and have clarity before travelling than be at the mercy of an immigration officer that probably had a bad day- 181 replies

Hey Chefs: What Thai Beef Cuts Are Best For Carnie Asada?
CLW replied to KhonKaenLive's topic in International Food
Makro has picanha cut (Australian Beef) and flank steak (Thai and imported beef) -
Still with those silly large wheels and higher ground clearance. Plus higher center of gravity. I'd buy a regular hatchback or sedan anytime over a SUV
