  1. Well, time to start investing or setting up a farm now
  2. Didn't expect the MG EP so popular. Anyway, BYD is going to make it this year for sure, same as it happened in other markets.
  3. I am also wondering what all those AG universities and government agricultural extension offices are doing? Many of those Professors studied abroad, so have officials or at least made some trips overseas. Not losing any hope but I don't see a future for small scale dairy or beef farmers. Especially after the free-trade agreement with Australia to import beef and lamb meat.
  4. Replying to feed cost, you're absolutely right about buying concentrate and making very little to no profit. Beef cattle farming only makes sense here if you can grow forage on ideally irrigated land or have plenty of grazing area on owned land.
  5. Problem is you would have to compete with relatively cheap and abundance of accommodation near potential campsites / RV hook ups. Most people use a car to get there, that they already own. So the rental price per day must be lower than the average accommodation cost for a double room, lets say 1,500 to 2,000 THB. Even without calculating it, can't see this making any money.... Not yet. With more demand maybe
  6. More like a grass chopper than for wood
  7. So the battery technology of the MG 4 Model D and Generation X is different?
  8. Just thinking out loud: How about using a small gasoline generator for powering A/C while standing
  9. Nice. But most times of the year AC is a must, so where to get the electricity?
  10. If I'd be owning a pickup, those removable tents or cabins would be an option. Can't see motorhomes or trailers becoming a trend here.
  11. Another reason not to go there anymore. It was fantastic during COVID with empty beaches and relaxed atmosphere. What about the governments idea of sustainable tourism and quality, not quantity?
  12. Just found this on the news section of the upcoming Bangkok International Motor Show end of March 2023. https://www.motorshow.in.th/news/suzuki-carry-x-jumtla/
  13. Plus the outdated Chademo plug. Japanese are ways behind any other market regarding EVs. Even with the new coming Honda eNS1 I'm reluctant to buy it with so many other choices in the same price range available...
  14. Mostly personal preferences / brand loyalty. You have to try out by yourself. I don't like the design of the PCX. ADV has decent suspension. NMAX best engine imo.
  15. Aerox is not bad. Engine is great, plenty of power and torque. I didn't like the small leg space in the front (depends how tall one is) and the awkward high sitting position of pillion rider. For the price of Aerox (68.900 THB) I would consider spending a bit more and purchase the Nmax 155 (90.900 THB). More space and more comfortable ride.
  16. Then you haven't been riding a real motorcycle yet. It's day and night between those scooters and a small motorcycle
  17. Patipong Machinery is another popular manufacturer of chippers / shredders https://www.patipong.com/ However, the Nimut system with blades and hammer mill combined should have a better results than the single blade of all patipong machinery
  18. Do yourself a favour and don't buy any "standard" Thai scooter such as Click, Scoopy, Wave etc. At least in stock outfit the suspension and resulting comfort is terrible. You'll feel every bump in the road together with the rattling noise of plastic parts. Trust me, I know what I'm talking. I own a Honda CT125 and sometimes driving scooter of my GF or work colleagues (both Scoopy model). Go for the PCX/ADV or Nmax if you like automatic transmission and scooter style. Apart from that, any small CC motorcycle has much more comfort than those small scooters.
  19. Overkill for only driving around in BKK: too large, too heavy and costing a fortune
  20. Aren't the top picture and those below not contradicting? In one it shows you have to have separate wiring from mains, the other two below show wiring after house meter.
  21. Same thinking here. The above 12 kV is most likely for commercial use in factories etc.
  22. Any updates on availability in Thailand of the BYD Seal and Neta S?
  23. As with almost all crops here in Thailand that are or have been "trending". Such as rubber, cassava, strawberry and now cannabis. First, farmers think they can make a fortune, that attracts shady middlemen trying to sell seed/seedlings/equipment followed by loan sharks and rock-bottom prices of each commodity
