  1. Nice try, putting the horses back in the stable after they bolted. In reality, no one will really care about these new regulations. There'll be the occasional crackdown with police photo OP and big PR and another chance for the BiB to collect tea money from the shops. Lucky for all international cannabis companies that hesitated to invest large sums in Thailand. They happily might go to countries with goverments you can trust such as USA, Canada, South Africa, Uruguay and many more coming soon in the future
  2. In reality, nothing is going to change. That's my two cents. For how many decades prostitution is illegal in Thailand and yet I haven't seen them closing down Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza or Pattaya Walking street...
  3. Nice, but why not MG5 as EV. Or is it maybe coming soon?
  4. I'd guess the big advertisers (Chang, Osotspa, Singha) should have enough cash reserves to pre-pay for the rights one month in advance
  5. Probably been scammed by the Thai employment agency. Nothing to do with Swedish labor laws
  6. How about sensible temperature settings for indoor buildings such as 25 degrees and not felt minus degrees like in some government buildings and hospitals. For long-term, insulation for wall and windows should be mandatory but I'm probably thinking too far, this is too much for Thai mindset
  7. Why Thailand doesn't do what other countries with world cup on public broadcasting institutions: play advertising and use this money to pay for the rights. Not rocket science, is it?
  8. I think Thai people generally feeling the influx of the wealthy 1%, that make land prices more expensive by speculation. Not actually buying the land for some purpose other than tax evasion and money laundering. It has nothing to do with a handful of foreigners wanting to own a small piece of land for their own designed home. If the government really would be interested in tackling the high land prices the should introduce proper zoning laws and a deadline in which a house must have been built an urban land for housing purposes.
  9. Anyone driving or has heard about the Super Soco TC max?
  10. Regarding electric two-wheelers / motorcycles, anyone driving or has some first-hand knowledge about the Super Soco TC max? Actually waiting for the release of NIU RQi but our current family motorcycle (Scoopy with almost 100k, not kidding) waiting to break down anytime soon and I don't want to invest for some major repairs.
  11. I have same experience as you, the battery electric sprayers sold at DIY stores and local garden stores are absolute garbage. We hade five or so that we bought at several outlets and all returned for cash within a few days because they didn't work. So now for outside we opted for a generic two-stroke petrol sprayer 20 liter (Kanto brand, but other are mostly similar) and a Makita battery powered sprayer 5 liters for the greenhouse. Both work like a charm but to be honest the petrol sprayer is pretty heavy with full 20 liters tank
  12. not rocket science: immigration should know the departure and arrival timetable and aircraft size, then staff the counters accordingly
  13. 70 meters before or after the transformer? To my knowledge every works before the transformer can only be done by PEA so you're at the mercy of their quotation. After transformer you can hire private contractor
  14. Why even bother, nothing related to (traffic) law enforcement will ever change without a new government and a radical police reform
  15. Not in urgent need to buy a car / EV but my favorite is still the GWM Ora Good Cat. Waiting for BYD Seal because I like the design. However, price not out yet. Also observing Tesla coming to Thailand, Model 3 would be my choice
  16. Dynavap is sold openly and official in Thailand from several shops. It's not classified as vaping device since it has no battery. Just google or search FB for sellers.
  17. You think Toyota is overpriced? Really? I think you confused with quality and value for money. Why are all taxi drivers use Corolla Altis? I'm really a fan of Chinese built E-SUVs and EVs but considering the price of the Toyota bz it's very attractive to other similar models such as Tesla Y or upcoming Haval H6 EV. Btw, the issues with the falling off tyres was related to a design problem with the bolts and not how to fix them

Steamed rice and I guess it's Fried chicken nuggets not knuckles ????
  19. From what I can see in the video the drivers helmet come off. Maybe the strap wasn't closed. Sadly but common thing here in Thailand (if they even bother to wear a helmet...)
  20. PHEVs sales are basically dead in Europe, everyone wants to have pure EV. Reasons amongst are the high price and additional cost for maintenance.
  21. Okay, thanks for clarification. My boss anyhow hired an agent to do the work for her, it's quite similar but the agent said she can't apply for work permit based on NON-ED. So the plan is now I leave to country to cancel my ED-Visa and meanwhile the agent applying for WP32 and sent it to me. With that I can then apply for 90 day NON-B, come back and do the work permit followed by 1-year-extension. The reason for this is, the Department of Employment is going to check the departure and arrival stamps later and they must matching with the application date for WP32 (later than this and earlier than NON-B application) Before reading your reply I asked the agent the same question or process: to apply for work permit based on NON-ED. But she said the Department of Employment doesn't do this anymore.
  22. Thank ubonjoe. Very helpful. So as I understand, we will be going ahead to submit the WP32 application and wait for the results? Currently I am on Non-ED extension that expires on 28 October
