  1. Been a lot of terrible accidents recently. Anytime a motorcycle ends up head on into a truck, it is usually because the rider doesn't get their tracking and leaning angles right, and just doesn't turn when they think they are going to.
  2. Can you think of any situation where a person ends up falling off a balcony while taking all reasonable precautions to protect oneself ? The only one I can think of is if a criminal breaks and enters into your house and throws you over it.
  3. Umm the topic at hand is about a young person. And that is what I was talking about. And why I prefixed my comment with "young". You are talking nonsense. The largest demographic of accidental falls is young ppl. Then there's the group of 30-50+ and in that group, suicide and murder is always suspected more than it is for the young ppl.
  4. Just by reading through this thread, it is clear that some ppl don't have the slightest idea what young ppl get up to on balconies. The balcony is a source of danger, so idiots show-boat on them. They piss off of them, get in fights on them. They sit on the rail and smoke. They jump from them if there's a close enough pool. Then there's the increased popularity of Parklour. Ppl jump or climb to other balconies. Parkour (French: [paʁkuʁ]) is an athletic training discipline or sport in which practitioners (called traceurs) attempt to get from point A to point B in the fastest and most efficient way possible, without assisting equipment and often while performing flips.[ includes flipping, running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, plyometrics, rolling, and quadrupedal movement—whatever is suitable for a given situation.[6][7] Parkour is an activity that can be practiced alone or with others, and is usually carried out in urban spaces,
  5. Obviously the insurance company has some fine print that excludes alcohol, horseplay and general stupidity.
  6. So harassing aa 13 year old girl and damaging her property is a cruel joke ?
  7. Because they put out when their sponsors visit.
  8. I used to rat race around with these guys in the 2010's. Middle eastern guys were always up for a race.
  9. Misleading headline. It reads like 2 Turkish tourists were good Samaritans and broke up a fight. 2 AM Wednesday morning, Looks like some 3 way action gone wrong. The Cambodian man wasn't in on it
  10. A country has a higher duty to its citizens than it does to foreign aliens. I wonder if you'd feel the same way if some Thai guy committed a murder on his holiday in your home city and the 2 choices were death penalty or house him in jail for life on your tax paying dime.
  11. Those percentages are the other way around now. It is 2023. Not 2005.
  12. Yours indicate a left wing mentality. The fact that you think it was a good thing that he died for speeding. And that you've never sped or drank and drove so you say.
  13. You must have had a terribly boring and bland young adulthood. Either that or you are the definition of a hypocrite.
  14. No. Nobody is. But this kid just happens to be the subject of this post. Im not a believer in karma per se but I used to say the same things that you just did until it seemingly had a way of coming back at me. And you have it coming for these posts. Probably drinks and rides at his age now.
  15. Hotel staff aren't highly paid to not make simple numerical mistakes. Everyone needs to just negotiate this one out.
  16. Some details are left out. I assumed that the Singaporean man had befriended the German who then entrusted him with the stuff. They had to assume the man was The German mans partner or butler or something.
  17. You have one job as the user of an escalator. One step. If the escalator was in working order and not missing parts, it was the "victims" fault.
  18. Here's another 40+ year old who forgot what it was like to be 16. Life changing injuries for the karma of being 16 and trying to beat a cop to the next city bloc in a 3rd world country
  19. He was just a dumb 16 year old having fun. Did you act like a 50 year old when you were 16? He didnt deserve these injuries
  20. Yeah. I have a motorcycle licence and experience. I assume nobody sees me and that I am about to get smeared at every moment. The most dangerous points is where you have the right of way. But this is where a lot of inexperienced ppl stop being attentive. Oh hey I clearly have the right of way. This is simple.
  21. Life is all a gamble. The die was cast. She lost. I wish she didn't. These Americanized drug laws are a scourge to the world I took my hair wax container, removed the hair product and filled it with Valiums in a bag, then packed some of the product back over it and put it in my luggage. I got sweated at the Vancouver airport. The first thing they did was take my plastic bag with my toiletries and set it off to the side. And then went through all my cloths and suitcase lining. They found nothing and then put the plastic bag back ontop and gave it to me and let me go.
