  1. To clarify, was referring to voluntary distancing. Out in public, shopping...and on busses, trains and planes. Wasn't happening. People forced to distance is a given. Not the point.
  2. I traveled extensively during those first 2+ years of Covidiocy, both in the USA and here in Thailand. Can't say that I ever noticed (anti)social distancing being observed much at all, except for the rare ultra-paranoid individual.
  3. Yes, she can return any time. Go to a knowledgeable agent or buy the ticket yourself, online.
  4. I prefer to stay closer to The Old City perimeter, especially Tha Phae Gate area.
  5. Of whom you're speaking...dude loses the plot alot! ????
  6. Are you having your money deposited into a US or Thai bank?
  7. Yes, I recently applied for SS and did so online with my Thailand address. Was asked if I wanted the money deposited into a US bank or Thai bank. I want it deposited into my US bank account. When I received the confirmation email, it stated it was being handled in Baltimore, which is what I expected. This thread may be of some help. https://aseannow.com/topic/1245468-sign-up-for-us-social-security-at-“my-social-security”-or-manila-office/

  9. China stomping their feet like a spoiled little bitch only after The USA paid them no nevermind, crapped on their cake and popped all their ego balloons. Grow up.
  10. Similar to children, they will comprehend both lingos.
  11. Had some hiking boots stitched and reinforced just the other day. Good job done while I waited. B180 for the pair. ศรีสมบูรณ์ ชูว์ - ซ่อมรองเท้า พัทยา - SHOE REPAIR PATTAYA 092 270 3291 https://maps.app.goo.gl/AivqQcn38C2bFyQt5
  12. Can a married person enter on 30-day visa exempt, then apply for 30-day extension...and then apply for 60-day extension? Thus getting 120 days?
  13. Really like and recommend Udon Thani alot. If you haven't been there, give it a go. Spent time in Korat last year. It was OK but surely much better now that it's opened up.
  14. Glad it worked out and that they did the right thing, for a change. Also, concur 100% that had you gone solo, they would have turned you away without the extension.
  15. Haven't used Wise in almost year. If US citizen, use MoneyGram. If not in any rush, that is. They are SLOW. Takes a full 5 business days, but net rate is better than Wise (if diligent) and transfers here always show as international transfer. They also have a limited number of recognized US banks, but lucky one of mine was on the list.
