Mystery Deepens: Missing British Man Boarded Flight from Thailand
Moonlover replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
1. His height is reported in feet and inches. The UK went metric in 1965 and the police, being an official public body would use centimeters. 2. The post refers to the 'British Police'. There is no such entity. The police in England Wales are divided into regional divisions. If the South Yorkshire Police really produce this poster then that is how they would refer to themselves as. 3. In yesterday's post it was reported that: 'South Yorkshire police have confirmed that Simon’s case has been reported, though they have not launched a missing persons appeal'. So why would they produce a poster? I therefor conclude the South Yorkshire Police did not produce this poster. It's a fake. -
Jealous Thai man allegedly kills wife by stuffing bomb in her mouth

I would suggest to the forensic team that they look for a long stick with bloods stains at one end and Yon's dabs at the other. -
British Man, 27, Vanishes in Thailand Before Flight Home

When a phone is static it will 'ping' on just one mast, usually the nearest. When a phone moving it will 'ping' on a number of masts in succession, thus indicating is direction of movement, a tracking technique that often used in crime detection work. The phone company would therefor have been able to report that Simon's phone wasn't just 'near' the airport. They would know whether it travelled to the airport at that time. It would be one of the first things that any investigator would want to know. "Where was he and what were his last known movements'. -

And it's pretty obvious that they DID release the information. (to an appropriate person) How else would his sister have known that he was on that flight? -

My apologies if my response to your earlier post confused you. It was your reference to the 'many hotels all around here' that confused me. And it still does. -

I rather doubt that any airline would reveal passenger details to anyone other than authorized entities such as the police or immigration. The Sun newspaper hardly falls into that category.- 187 replies

Mystery Deepens: Missing British Man Boarded Flight from Thailand

So this 'poster' is fake. I was suspicious of this right from the start. What else is 'fake' about this story? -
The conversion rate is fixed the moment the customer selects 'confirmed'. The local agent operates in THB and issues the appropriate amount to the customer's bank in that currency. Nothing changes once the amount has been accepted by the customer.

British Man, 27, Vanishes in Thailand Before Flight Home

No it doesn't. It only indicates where the phone is. However the story suggests that his last call was to his girlfriend letting her know he was on his way to the airport. What other conclusion can one draw? -
Once again I refer Wise customers to their Q2 Mission Update blog. Read the righthand panel and then click/tap the 'Learn More' If you all did that there should be no more of these dreary repeats of the same topic. https://wise.com/campaign/mission-update-q224

When a phone company is asked to trace the movements of a mobile, they do by checking to see which phone masts it was in contact with. That's calling 'pinging' and owner of the phone cannot detect that 'pinging', only the phone company can do that. Bottom line, what are you talking about when you say 'my phone pings every day?' -

The bigger mystery IMO, is that he had brought the date of his return flight forward by 8 days. Why would he decide to do that if he had found someone to cozy up with? I've have thought extending his stay would be more appropriate.- 113 replies

All the Blood pressure medications
Moonlover replied to georgegeorgia's topic in Health and Medicine
I have an app on my phone which features the 4-7-8 routine and a few others. It's called, very simply, 'Breathe' and works a treat when one needs a bit of encouragement. -

And therein lies the root cause of so many people's problems, to the delight of big pharma of course! -

There is a ton of good advise in this video. I think I've seen it before but there's no harm in having this important advise reiterated. One aspect that I forgot to mention in my post yesterday is the importance of good breathing. Far too many people are 'chest breathers', which does not activate the diaphragm. Diaphragmatic breathing not only ventilates the lungs more efficiently, the downward movement of that muscle during inhalation applies a pumping action to organs of the viscera. This greatly aids the circulation of the blood taking the work load off the heart and assists in the clearing of toxins in that region. How we breath is also directly related to blood pressure and there are technics that can be used to help keep it under control. There is some good advise in this website. Stuff you're unlikely to hear in the doctor's office. One of them, the 4-7-8 routine I use every morning during my exercise routine. https://www.modernheartandvascular.com/breathing-techniques-that-lower-blood-pressure/
