UPDATE: Norovirus NOT Found in Ice and Water Factories in Phuket
ThailandRyan replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Well that answers my questions I had posted in another running OP on the issue. Now they need to investigate the local water sources (wells etc.), and water machines. -
Maybe that is one of the unknowns as far as the prosecution goes. They may have that Ace up there sleeve and have information and proof that he did sell the info......only time will tell when the trial starts and the discovery process starts. Trumps lawyers right now only know what's in the indictment as well as all of us. Until the day when the indictments evidence is shared all these republicans should, for now put a sock in it, as well as all of the media and so on.

I thought that this was the reason the new LTR Visa class was designed and rolled out. To attract more foreign wealthy retirees. I just do not understand why the left hand and the right hand never seem to meet in the middle with theses different councils and government offices. Do they even pay attention to what really is happening Visa wise to draw in more folks.

Yet there are a few, who even post here, that are in total denial. Making claims that u Der the PRA he could have the documents he had and can show them to whomever he likes. To think this way means they have been fooled completely by the snake salesman, just like in the old days when they would claiming the elixir would cure all ills... These folks believe Trump walks on water. Well I am sure he will still be stoking the flames from below after he departs this earth

Pence isn't the only one that's having the change of heart. Look at Nikki Haley and a few others who are now speaking out against Trump. It is only a matter of time before more wise up. However, standby for Trump to throw everyone under the bus in order to shield himself. Pence's statement is telling it like it truly is.: “Having read the indictment, these are very serious allegations,” Mr Pence told The Wall Street Journal’s Editorial Board on Tuesday. “And I can’t defend what is alleged.” Mr Pence later added that, as a member of a military family, he was concerned about the risks to the lives of American service members when secret information is not handled correctly.

Here is some info for those not understanding things clearly on many items brought forth regarding the Trump investigation. Trump classified document indictment fact checks: What's true and what's false? (msn.com) Timeline of Trump’s classified docs investigation and indictment (nbcnews.com) Trump has claimed that he declassified the documents before he left the White House. But the indictment argues that Trump knew his administration did not complete the accepted declassification process, and it accuses Trump of having shown the documents to people without security clearance, including a book author. The indictment, which does not name the author, includes a transcript of the July 2021 conversation Trump had with the writer about a classified military document described as a “plan of attack” against another country. The conversation, which the indictment says was recorded with Trump's knowledge, was first reported by CNN. In May 2021, the National Archives began asking Trump and his staff to return all missing presidential records, according to email communications between the archives and Trump's lawyers that were later made public. Two of Trump’s aides returned 15 boxes of records to the National Archives eight months later, in January 2022. The Archives soon determined that 14 of the boxes contained classified documents and referred their discovery to the Justice Department, the indictment says.

Back in 2005, I was doing Muay Thai down in Phuket. I was watching my caloric intake and went to a small restaurant where I ordered a fresh salad. Unbeknownst to me they were washing the vegetables out the back door with tap water from a hose......needless to say I ended up at the hospital with a bad case of bacterial dysentery, similar to the OP and was on an IV drip for 2 days, and yes, connected to the toilet when I was not sleeping. Thai doctors seem to want it to run it's course and not give anything like imodium or such to help stop you up. Lots of antibiotics. Had a private room, and at the end of the 3rd day I was discharged with a bill of 21k Thb, all in all I was lucky. Lost 5 kg so that was a bonus.....

The way you can tell you have ice from a factory here in Thailand is the cylindrical shape and hole in the middle. Made using proper equipment, yet sometimes that can be bad as well if the equipment is not cleaned or sanitized, and why I mentioned in my comment above about them checking the factories which bottle water and make Ice. For those that get there water from a machine at 1 baht per liter how do you know the machines filter is not old and nasty.

Infectious disease experts need to be called in if these folks here in country can not figure this out. Reminds me of when another norovirus went wild during a convention. Question for them would be: Did you send inspectors to all of the Ice factories and water companies who bottle water.

Do you have a link to verify your point of the Democrats refusing to achknowledge his 2016 win? I find the statement made is false https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2020/nov/24/jody-hice/did-democrats-refuse-acknowledge-trumps-2016-victo/ In fact, Democrats began acknowledging Trump’s electoral-vote victory in 2016 within hours after it became clear. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who won the popular vote, called Trump on election night to congratulate him and offered to work with him. She also urged her supporters to accept the results and "look to the future."

It is called being a child crying over spilt milk, and equivalent to throwing a tantrum in the store when the toy they want is not bought. For him to believe the country is rigged or corrupt shows the same poor ability to look at thinks from a intellectual perspective. I wonder if Trump could even tell you about the 3 branches of the US government and what each one does. I also wonder if he understands what the 14th Amendment is, or if his followers understand the same.

I have called the restaurant myself many times when my orders were not correct not the delivery company. The rider picks up the order which has your name on it. They then double check the name when they deliver it, and many take a photo as proof they delivered it to you, at least in BKK they do. Many times the restaurant realizes they put the wrong item in a wrong bag, remake the order and send it out to us. So it makes perfect sense.

Prawit Denies Involvement In Anti-Pita Conspiracy
ThailandRyan replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This government who is in power still, even in a caretaker role, makes a mockery out of free elections. They have all been complicit in playing behind the scenes to twist the stories to there benefit......my dead friend gave me this statement. -
Wonder where his fanbase was today, and why only a few decided to show up to the arraignment. Amazes me that the polls show he has such a huge base, yet when he cry's wolf no one is there in person. People need to remember that he is being tried by the Judicial Branch and neither of the other two branches are involved. Separation of powers make that possible. This was not a political job, and no-one else except the special counsel investigated, brought in a grand jury to view the evidence, and then indicted him. Hardly anyone showed up to protest Trump's arraignment today... but Twitter sure had a lot to say about it (msn.com)

Looks like his rhetoric and fan base, all but a few, have decided they wont be bothered to protest. My take on it is they do not want to be arrested for breaking laws if they followed the lead protagonists. Hardly anyone showed up to protest Trump's arraignment today... but Twitter sure had a lot to say about it (msn.com)

"Biden is trying to jail his leading political opponent"
ThailandRyan replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Yet in his mind he believes he is still the POTUS and is only in a Time out that will be overturned one day when he is reinstated.....in his mind. He really does need some kind of help in seeing the light at the end of the tunnel like some of well make that all of his followers. I am not a Republican, nor a Democrat, and I hate politics, yet as a retired former LEO with a Military background, his taking of documents against the PRA and without turning them over to the National Archives should be prosecuted. If he takes a plea deal, he will have technically been found guilty, and as such under he 14th amendment be ineligible to run or take office. His followers just do not understand this. Once again Biden is not trying to jail the Donald, it is the legal system and the DOJ, and outside of Bidens control, ie... Jack Smith who is a is a Special Counsel. Smith is outside of the DOJ in regards to his investigations. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_counsel The Attorney General, or in cases in which the Attorney General is recused, the Acting Attorney General, will appoint a Special Counsel when he or she determines that criminal investigation of a person or matter is warranted and— (a) That investigation or prosecution of that person or matter by a United States Attorney's Office or litigating Division of the Department of Justice would present a conflict of interest for the Department or other extraordinary circumstances; and (b) That under the circumstances, it would be in the public interest to appoint an outside Special Counsel to assume responsibility for the matter. The attorney general sets the subject jurisdiction of the special counsel: The jurisdiction of a Special Counsel shall be established by the Attorney General. The Special Counsel will be provided with a specific factual statement of the matter to be investigated. The jurisdiction of a Special Counsel shall also include the authority to investigate and prosecute federal crimes committed in the course of, and with intent to interfere with, the Special Counsel's investigation, such as perjury, obstruction of justice, destruction of evidence, and intimidation of witnesses; and to conduct appeals arising out of the matter being investigated and/or prosecuted.
