World History in Thailand - lack of or Arrogance?
ThailandRyan replied to KhaoYai's topic in Primary & Secondary Education
Not unless it is to obtain gossip material for others. Thai women love to talk trash, yet when you as a foreigner make a comment your told not to speak bad about others. It upset my now ex-wife when she finally realized I could understand, speak and read Thai. I had told her for years I understood what she was saying and when it dawned on her I was hearing to much she switched to speaking Khmer. -

World History in Thailand - lack of or Arrogance?
ThailandRyan replied to KhaoYai's topic in Primary & Secondary Education
The way I look at it, and tell me if I am wrong, is that most Thai's do not look past there own sphere of influence. If it does not affect them they do not seem to care or want to know and will argue with you just to save face. Even when you show them, and not to prove them wrong, but to help educate them or expand there knowledge they seem to really be disinterested.- 66 replies

Are you confusing yourself. I mean look at the post I responded to and now look at your last post. I see a flip flop. Now I am confused. As stated above by many, who provided links, I believe your being disingenuous. -

But, But, But the election was stolen. Georgia was complicit, so was Arizona, and so on and so on....."I can just think of it and it happened" said Trump.... -

So wait, then what your saying is that the warrant that was served only uncovered love letters? Are you serious? I guess you have not been watching or reading the same sources as I have then. Are you selective on what you look at, and only look at pro-trump information? asking for a friend. -

What the heck are you even talking about. Seems that the dark days are for Trump supporters as there infallible leader is slowly spinning himself into a conviction. Had the man just done as asked and kept his trap shut, returned the documents as asked, he would never be in the deep feces he is in now. He can not help himself, he runs off at the mouth way to often and folks believe every word that comes from his lips. Tell me how much you have donated to his defense. I get e-mails by the dozens daily asking to support him, and I am not a Republican, nor a Democrat....go figure. -

That would be akin to slowly putting the knife in his back and twisting it thereby eviscerating him and relegating him to the sidelines forever. I would venture that if that were to happen, then whomever was elected and then pardoned him would ensure that Trumps lips were permanently sewed closed. Thats my take on it, and one way to ensure Trump is truly placed out of the limelight and unable to divide people ever again. -
Trump says he's been indicted in classified docs probe

Wait for it, here it comes......oh wait where are the MAGA folks? conspicuously absent so okay I will say it for them: "But he thought about it and therefore they are all declassified regardless" How these folks believe this garbage is truly hard to believe, and makes one wonder if they have any common sense or actually think for themselves. The Declassification process has so many steps and layers which must be undertaken, that in the end it's up to the National Archives to state that a document is declassified, stamp it so, and then it can be released. Of course there will be many redactions in the document and entire sections missing which makes the document look nothing like it resembled in it's prior incarnation. -

Who says that the other Republicans now running for the presidential nominee must defend Trump. Where do you come up with this comment. In the past many would throw the other candidates under the bus, and then continue with more and more comments to disenfranchise that opponent. It is called mudslinging and by throwing Trump under the bus and then placing him in the also ran column they distance themselves from him and show how they are a better candidate. It works on both sides, or should I say on all sides of political parties. -

Dark day for who? Not for justice as it is being served correctly after a thorough investigation and a grand jury review with the recommendation to indict. Tel us please how that is a miscarriage of justice and a dark day. Dark day for trump as the clouds are darkening over him and his supporters. Time to realize just who you have been played by.- 535 replies

Trump says he's been indicted in classified docs probe
ThailandRyan replied to Scott's topic in World News
If he had been negotiating and turning the documents over as you say, there would never have been an investigation, and no it was not and is not being done as a political hack job. Look at the evidence. If there was no evidence a grand jury never would have decided there was enough evidence to indict. You really are not looking very clearly at the situation.- 535 replies

Looks like more will be taken down along with the Donald. It appears that many folks who bought into his lies and so on have done some incredibly dumb things which will cause there incarceration as well. Sad day when folks believe with open arms and do not use there brains and eyes to actually step back and think about the totality of things.

He will be running from Trial to trial it appears. Maybe he will set up his political stops on his way in between each jurisdiction. -
Trump says he's been indicted in classified docs probe
ThailandRyan replied to Scott's topic in World News
Can you explain how you came to the belief that the classified documents were declassified and he was able to keep them in his possession, without it first being cleared through the National Archives? I am aghast that there are people who still believe this mans lies and his mantra..... -

Trusty, is absolutely correct and the jail term upon conviction will place the Donald into a Federal location, maybe Lompoc, or a Club Fed as some are known. He should fit right in and become the defacto leader of the club..... https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/reliable-source/wp/2015/01/05/what-its-really-like-inside-club-fed-prisons/ “It’s kind of like a junior college setting,” explained Larry Levine, director and founder of Wall Street Prison Consultants, which advises clients before going into lock-up. “I don’t want to call it a stress-free environment, but it’s a lot of hanging out with the other inmates, you know, just bull—-ing.” -
He uses it in all of his posts in the other OP's as well, I have gotten used to it. Back on topic, the Saudis are throwing money left and right at sports figures. They tried hard to buy Mesi for over 1 Billion euros, but he rejected the offer, Saudis Arrive In Paris To Close Messi Deal, Camp Accepts €1.2bn offer (forbes.com) A Saudi delegation has arrived in Paris to try and close the signing of soon-to-be free agent Lionel Messi, according to Relevo. However, they will never admit it and neither will he, no matter the outcome. He can sit in prison like the other Criminals who fleeced millions from people. -

It's like a criminal, when caught with dope in his pants, saying these are not my pants I just found them on the ground and put them on because i needed pants. -

What kind of degrees does she hold from universities. The only way to truly promote without undue influence, or payment in this country is to having obtained degrees or Masters. It took my now former BIL 12 years to reach Lt. Colonel, and he went back to school twice for extra degrees, and obtained his masters in Criminal Justice. He then had to petition and test to obtain the rank, it was not just bestowed on him like this young lady. If qualified, then ok, if not then this shows true Old School tactics and having friends in high places. Having come from a LEO background I saw it play out elsewhere as those in the circles of the upper echelon where given the answers to upcoming tests and the questions to the interviews afterwards. What has happened to earning your promotion even here in this country.

Money should never allow people to escape their wrong doings. Thats the difference between White Collar crime and Blue collar crime. My daughter did her Masters Thesis on the inequities between those arrested for White Collar Crimes and those arrested for Blue Collar crimes. Waiting on the publisher to put it out as a must read for students getting a Masters in Business, Economics, and Finance, it is in publication thanks to the Universities Regents who saw it's potential as a learning tool. Anyone else who did what Trump has done would already be in jail. Back on topic, Trump has tried to peddle his influence for decades and this is why he thinks he is untouchable "Me, Who did nothing wrong"
