You keep on banging on about Felony, you do realize the charges being pled to were part of a plea deal, so they had been reduced to get him to plead guilty. You guys amaze me that you can only see it as a conspiracy and one sidedness. Was he convicted, yes he was by pleading to the reduced charges. A win Win for both sides

Just did some research. He is here on a Visa. There was a time when he was under investigation 6 years ago as well. You wonder if his Hi-So connections to his GF's father keeps him out of trouble. -
And many times part of the plea deal to avoid jail time is to attend more drug counseling courses and then show proof of completion. One wonders if part of his plea deal was informal probation where he must deliver a urine sample when called upon to prove he is clean. Seen it happen dozens of times, no not the urine test but the informal probation.

A plea deal generally kicks things down a level from a felony to a misdemeanor, it is a win on both sides, or would you rather not allow Plea deals to be made. As a LEO I had many cases which were felonies, and yes they included obtaining guns falsely, The individuals were allowed to plea to lesser charges as this was a deal presented to the individual. Still a win on the DA's books, and still a conviction. Plus the Plea deals had a stipulation that if the defendant was arrested again for the same or similar offense they would be incarcerated and the original charges reinstated. You folks do understand that no one is above the law but the charges can be reduced if agreed upon, right?

Tragic? How? He took a plea deal instead of facing whatever other charges they had against him. It is a win for the justice system, and yet it does not satisfy you.....go figure. You will continue beating the drum even if the Donald does the same thing and takes a Plea deal. Evidence is evidence and it has to be solid enough to stand the litmus test. When it is overpowering the majority of folks take a plea deal.

I think the point made by the article is that the one in the photo has gone missing. That was due to the construction folks removing it and not replacing it. Maybe they thought it looked unsightly and with the construction being done the city would replace it.......of course that's my view on the article.

Just looked at making a flight back to the US the end of September. Holy moly a round trip cattle class ticket was just shy of $2400 USD. I paid that in January of 2022 and flew Business class. My how the prices have climbed. Daughters flew here to visit us in April and the flights were only $1400 round trip. No seeing how a tourist wanting to come here will be affording the flights unless they drop.

How to get a Yellow House Book ?

That and they wanted to see my Visa class, and have my passport translated to Thai, but that was now over 10 years ago. -
You are pretty much spot on with my view. THe USD has not Slid against the THB except for the run up to 38 and then back down to the high 32's. It has pretty much stayed in the 34 Thb to USD range for the past month or so. https://www.xe.com/currencycharts/?from=USD&to=THB&view=1M

Trump says he's been indicted in classified docs probe

More deflection and denial on his part. "I needed to separate my personal items from all others in the boxes" now that's rich. Had the man not been denying the election was stolen and then tried to lead an insurrection he would have had almost 2 months to gather his personal items in separate boxes while leaving the Documents at the White House for NARA. His interview also violates the new rules for the case as to not discussing it. -
Trump says he's been indicted in classified docs probe

Here is his defense, well he is deflecting on why he did not return the documents when asked. Trump says he didn't hand over documents because he was 'very busy' (usatoday.com) Former President Donald Trump offered a new explanation Monday as to why he didn't return classified documents he took with him from the White House, saying he was "very busy" and didn't have time to separate them from his personal belongings. Trump made the comments in an interview with Fox News' chief political anchor Bret Baier on his show Special Report. Asked why he didn't simply return the bankers boxes full of documents after the National Archives and Justice Department moved to subpoena him, Trump said, "Because I had boxes, I wanted to go through the boxes and get all of my personal things out. I don't want to hand that over to NARA yet. And I was very busy, as you’ve sort of seen." -
I think he will become the new General Prem and take up permanent residence in the house he currently resides in. There will then be the annual trip to visit him by the new PM and a kissing of the ring for a blessing of good fortune for the New Year. Just mu view.

Sounds like a meeting between Pheu Thai and MFP has also been successful in hammering out the speaker allocations. Lets see what tomorrow brings and then wait while we hold out breaths to see what occurs with the PM validation.

How to get a Yellow House Book ?

My mistake, misread the post and saw a quote I thought was from you. All good I reported my post and had it removed. -
A ticking time bomb and a huge bubble seems ready to burst. Standby if your extended family is at the end of there credit lines. A few years back I watched as a Family in Udon Thani, just outside of town on the ring road, just packed up the truck one day and left the house they had been buying from the bank. Left the doors wide open. Apparently they did let the bank know and within a few hours after they left a bank employee showed up with a handyman. This was in a newer Moo Ban near the airport, near a friend of mine. I just happened to be visiting when this all went down. The bank employee took photos inside and out, and then the handyman secured the doors with new hasps and locks as well as placing a lock on the gate. My friend indicated that he had heard, from his wife, that they had a business that failed as well and owed many creditors. One has to wonder what people own the local loan sharks in addition to the banks.
