  1. Good to see the Man from Myanmar was not the suspect and they got the real one
  2. I had my first AZ jab at MedPark hospital in June, free, no cost, 2nd one to be administered on Sept 16th, also free. Through the intervac website.
  3. Another one who believes the fake news stories about it all being false and Covid not being real.
  4. This is what my GF's 7 year old daughter had to do for the 2 weeks she was in the hospital, staying alone, no parents or family. Sucks completely.
  5. So the biggest question with this new announcement that I have is "Will they be counted in the case totals only if admitted for treatment"?, or "will they all be counted and added to the daily cases", or better yet "Not counted at all"? Sometimes I wonder when they make these announcement what the end game may be, then on top of that how much more room has been recently added in places such as treatment field hospitals and such.
  6. Possibly given a new Amulet as well to make them Invincible from getting Covid again....
  7. Have you ever thought my post was sarcastic in nature, no thought not. ????
  8. Fled for the weekend and hope to sequester elsewhere probably. My garage is still full.
  9. And one individual poster herein says its a nonstarter and only has small notes and has already died down. I do not think this one will fade away, and oh how wrong he is, or was he just trolling.
  10. Whose law, his own view of what the law said or was it, (Section 2 subset 1 of Net's law) which says "If the suspect is a Hi-So and not a Lo-So and can afford to pay each investigator and the family millions upon millions, the case has no merit and thus must not be filed" Sounds about right in this case..... Instead of money I would have insisted on a 10% piece of the company and the profits for life.....
  11. You believe so, well you might want to look again as she was a Swiss Government official. That's big news.
  12. Today the numbers were once again well over the 21k mark and almost hit 22k cases. The deaths at 212 are again another high as well. We know that deaths have been lagging behind cases by a few weeks, but then with the Delta variant we see that its incubation period takes only four days instead of the six that the prior variants took, thus bringing on the more severe symptoms much sooner. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/health/2021/07/28/delta-variant-spreads-covid-more-quickly-powerful-virus-mutations/5397849001/ As much as the good PM says he does not want to see people dying at home, and with 100k alone in Bangkok isolating at home, the numbers of deaths outside of the hospitals is still seen daily. On another note, the markets that we have been walking to in order to pick up the odds and ends needed to last are pretty low on certain Items. At Makro yesterday we again saw the aisles lined with carts for home deliveries and many were stocked up with boxes upon boxes of Mama noodles and such as well as cases of water. Seems people here in BKK are stocking up. The local 7-11’s, and we have 6 around us, of which one is a company owned store, are wiped out of refrigerated goods, eggs, and bread, I guess I should have taken a picture last night when we walked into one on Silom road to grab a bottled water as we finished our walk. However, the lockdown has not even affected the work camp/construction sites as they are like any normal day prior to covid. Yesterday’s numbers showed BKK still rising in cases, and I would expect the numbers in BKK to keep on moving up. However, we may never know the true extent of the actual cases based upon the use of the new Rapid Antigen tests they are using and not counting in the case totals. Stay safe, take care of your families, and stay healthy both physically and mentally.
  13. Wrong as it's already trending in the US as well as Europe. Washington post, Seattle PI etc....
  14. Better do some research plenty of new studies out there. https://pharmaphorum.com/news/mix-and-match-regimen-of-az-and-pfizer-covid-jabs-works-well/ Giving one dose each of AstraZeneca and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines provides good protection against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, but may be associated with more adverse reactions, according to new clinical trial data. The Com-COV trial compared two shots with Pfizer/BioNTech’s Comirnaty, two doses of AstraZeneca’s Vaxzevria, and a mixed regimen of one of each jab, and found that all were effective at stimulating a “robust” immune response against the coronavirus, according to the investigators. The order of the mixed shots seemed to affect the efficacy, however, with AZ followed by Pfizer/BioNTech working better than the reverse – at least when the doses are given four weeks apart. https://www.brusselstimes.com/news/belgium-all-news/health/173449/mixing-astrazeneca-and-pfizer-vaccine-leads-to-better-immune-response-research-shows-moderna-european-medicines-agency-ema-university-of-saarland/ People who receive a second shot of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine after they got a first dose of AstraZeneca’s jab develop better protection against the coronavirus than after getting a second AstraZeneca dose, new research shows. The study, conducted by researchers from the German University of Saarland, followed 250 people, some of whom were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca or Pfizer, and others who received a combination. The interval between the first and second shot was nine to twelve weeks.
  15. Those are on the bottom of the stacks, you think I would be crazy enough to stack the beer boxes on top of the mama noodles, silly man....lol. But hey when this is all over I will sell it all for a profit, if I do not look like Fat <deleted> by then
