That's why it is cheaper. Uber was here at one time but the fees etc. Were to much so they sold out to Grab which is an Asean Company. Unless the I/O resets your 90 days at the time you do your extension of stay like they were doing at CW in 2021 and early 2022. Of course mine was recently reset in 2022 when I obtained my new LTR visa and stamp in October, and is now a one year report not 90 days. That's two times in a row my reporting of my address was tied to my extension of stay.

That is also why when I left and then returned from the Philippines I was stamped in for the original 5 years as I had a stamp in my passport for reference unlike the E-Visa you folks have. So yes there was and is some confusion by the I/O's at the airport. Minor teething problems in my view. However, my LTR log on page still shows in step 7. I need it to move o to the issued before I can reopen the LTR to add my soon to be wife as a dependant...ugh. looks like I need to call them again since we are staying in Hua Hin until the 26th when we return to the Bangkok condo.

Seems that all jobs here in Thailand are Jobs only a Thai can do, from cutting hair to selling Kebabs. Seems that the Thai's want to keep the other asean countries people stomped completely beneath there feet........this is ridiculous......only jobs a Thai can do, and just how many Thais will do these jobs.....very few. Next it will be foreigners can only hire Thai's to be housekeepers, yet Thai's can hire those from cambodia, myanmar, and laos....

Immigration Officers Charged Over Illegal Visa Malfeasance
ThailandRyan replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
So tell me then as well as the rest of us why an agent is needed if one has all of the true requirements one needs for their extension of stay? I understand the viewpoint of one who does not wish to negotiate the steps and the ques, having met the requirements, and thus using an agent to assist. Yet tell me why it is legal to use an agent to facilitate your stay if you don't meet the money requirements or the age requirements and thus need to have a dodgy visa issued when your not doing what the visa is for lets use the education Visa or Volunteer Visa. Tells us how this is not corruption based bribery. -
To many complaints from the Taxi Drivers, and people who have registered their vehicles as commercial transport vehicles, while the bolt drivers are driving regular cars registered as a private vehicle. If they want to play the game correctly then the vehicles need to be registered appropriately........

January 29, the date stamped on the piece of paper they are now using for 90 day reporting, is 90 days from when you did apply for the current Extension of Stay, which was done on Nov 1. Your date of January 9th was the date where you were to return to get the true extension of stay stamp which is now good until December 9, 2023. I would go with my hat in hand to immigration, explain your sorry but were confused by the dates, see if being now 11 days late you can be forgiven and obtain your new 90 day stamp. Be ready to pay a small fine if not. Don't wait any longer. You can always say you mailed it and it must have gotten lost in tge Thai post.
