ThailandRyan replied to peter zwart's topic in General Topics

Cannot communicate with MG Thailand.
ThailandRyan replied to up2you2's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Better do some research Sir, pay attention to the last sentence below the link https://7zap.com/en/brand/mg/ MG produces a wide variety of spare parts for all types of vehicles, from replacement headlights to brake pads and oil filters. They also produce performance parts, such as exhausts, suspension components, and engine tuning parts.MG parts are known for their high quality, reliability, and affordability. The parts are manufactured to strict standards and are tested to ensure they meet the requirements of the vehicle. The parts also come with a warranty, ensuring that they will last and perform as expected. The price of MG parts is often lower than that of competitors, making them an attractive option for those on a budget.MG parts are manufactured in factories located in China, India, and the United States. The company has been manufacturing high-quality auto parts for over 50 years and is one of the leading suppliers globally. -

What are you talking about here with this comment: "Quite amazed after 604 views, that nobody to date has achieved direct communications with MG Thailand" As I stated in an earlier post I have had no problems contacting any of the MG dealers I have used and since moving to the Pranburi Area of PKK just had a service done in HH after calling them as well as sending a message through there Facebook account, which they answered to both within minutes of myself messaging them and talking to the front desk who also had the service center call me back. -

Cannot communicate with MG Thailand.
ThailandRyan replied to up2you2's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Sorry Mike, but unless you have one, and have had one for many years like I have, and have put many KMs on it, your view would be different. The Interior is high end and not cheap as you say, at least not in my HS-X. Comfortable ride and quiet compared to a friend's Mitsubishi. -

Exactly and well put. Needed to have the MG Serviced for it's 50k KM service. Called up and also messaged the local MG dealership in Hua Hin by Facebook, and was quickly scheduled for the next available appointment for two days out. Service advisor spoke great English as well and the service was completed and the vehicle washed without asking. The HH MG shop is small compared to the one down in PKK which is newer. Friendly and painless contact. 3 years in on the MG HS-X and it runs like a champ, never had any issues. 7 liters per 100 m is what I am averaging, average tank fill running 1500 Thb. -
Thailand’s household-debt storm taking deadly toll on guarantors
ThailandRyan replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The guarantor route is the way many Thais go in order to buy a new car and do not have the money to show they qualify. A friends wife had to do the as the friend would not pay for the car outright and a loan from Krungsri Auto was needed. The local School director, the friend of the woman's father signed as the guarantor. The FIL could not sign as he had two cars and a tractor on loan payments. Of course my friend made the monthly payments so no issues, but just think of those who are not so lucky to have a foreign payment maker in the house. You may ask, why did not the foreign husband sig as the guarantor and the answer was he is a retiree on a retirement extension of stay and has no WP so the bank would not loan the money for the car with him as the guarantor. Those who take the loan default and the guarantor is on the hook and as you can see the stress is too much. If you can not qualify for aa loan then the banks really should not be making the loans.- 52 replies

PM selection sitting this Thursday now in limbo
ThailandRyan replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
It was only a matter of time before the Vote on whether or not Pita could have a second vote taken would be appealed to the courts. The sham of asking the entire parliament and the senate to vote on this was a ridiculous move and has further ramifications if left as it is for any other PM nominations. Voting for a PM is not like voting for a constitutional amendment or a bill. -
Absolutely none needed. Ex wife picked up 3 cards a day quickly maxed them out. Never knew until the divorce how much she owed. Glad her new millionaire paid them off for her. Always wondered where all the new clothes from H&M and Zara came from. She had no job.

Satang, 1 baht or 2 baht coins? Begging can not be financially rewarding or can it be?

Nah, that's only us foreigners without a work permit.....oh you were being sarcastic...got it.

Why were they given cards and loans if they did not have the ability to repay said cards and loans. Shameful....

Another day and another twist in the Saga called "let's form a democratic government". If this is the way parties and compatriots in a coalition are treated before a PM and cabinet are seated, what does that mean will happen during this governments time in office. Not looking good folks. Political instability and the baht has strengthened....hmmmm

Seems as if Zelensky and the Ukraine military are doing an end round on the Russians and stopping there ability to retreat, while also setting up an attack and forward push to obtain a return of the annexed territories that Putin has claimed. You have to love the way Putin phrases things such as "Terrorist Attack" when he has launched an all out war on the Ukraine while calling it a "Special Operation". I think turnabout is fair play and the bully is getting his rear end kicked by the small kid on the block who he was set on disenfranchising. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-66218869 Vladimir Putin has vowed to retaliate following a "terrorist" attack on the bridge linking Crimea to Russia. Moscow has blamed Ukraine for the incident - which left two people dead - but Kyiv has not officially said it was responsible. The Kerch bridge was opened in 2018 and enables road and rail travel between Russia and Crimea - Ukrainian territory annexed by Russia in 2014.

For the games already played there are highlight reels on YouTube. Just watched the US v. Vietnam match. Waiting on the Sunday games to start soon.

Should the PTP throw the MFP out of the coalition and bring in Anutin and Prawit I believe you will see mass protests in the streets. The unfortunate ending would be a coup to settle things down and then where is Thailand but back to square one. This political juggernaut is a powder keg waiting for that one spark....do these folks not see that?
