All Thais believe they are Estate Agents so competition will be fierce. Common practice to roam around collecting For Sale/ Rent phone numbers and advertise them without landlords knowledge

A while back Krungsri sent me a message to attend a branch to set up facial (farcical) recognition and I did but my branch didn't know how to do it?

Just discovered True are not streaming Premier League this year despite charging me 499bht pm on an annual contract for the service! Apparently AIS have the rights despite having merged/partnered with True. True don't want to reduce my mthly bill! I now have to switch carriers to AIS and pay 699bht mthly despite not receiving a reduction from True so that's 1198bht pm AND buy an AIS phone to receive the service. True never cease to amaze me with their rip offs.

Never works for me. Went to branch and was preceded by another westerner who also couldn't get it to work despite many attempts. BB took another photo of me but mine still didn't work. Asked the teller to turn it off or do the action for me but they said they couldn't. Strangely my UK bank facial recognition did work despite never attending for a photo??? BB app facial (farcical) recognition is a joke. Having to resort to on line service to overcome but I see that BB and others are stopping new applications for on line banking!

I stoically collected 12 mths of credit advices from BB and took them back to the bank for their letter of confirmation for my agent assisted annual extension. Unfortunately I had kept 800k in my account in case there was a problem and Agent Bank and Immigration took the 800k route rather than the hassle of the 12 mths x 65k! BB said I need to move the 800 k to another bank if I wanted to go the 12x65 next year. On reflection I will probably go the 12x65k route with Krungsri (coded as Global Payment Hub) but will eat up a lot of bank books as this is our main spending account. Don't make it easy-do they!

They are already closing the many mule accounts used by the scamming and gambling industry operating in border areas. Could be affecting oligarchs causing them to fall out???

I am on blood thinners and also get swollen feet and ankles and my legs look like yours. In fact if I knock myself anywhere I get blood spots. Anytime I sit I elevate my legs and put Vaseline on them to prevent leaking and bleeding. Tried compression socks but that just moved the problem upwards. Yes age thins the skin and increases circulation problems especially if you have heart problems.

Watch the face scan as with BB I cannot make it work despite a visit to BB who just took another photo which still didn't work

Thanks again Just done my agent assisted extension at Jomtien. Provided Credit Advices for 1yr and 800k in for 3mths and went to get letter from BB. BB chose 800k and told us about the new 4mths before or lock up for 4mths after ruling from HQ. If I wanted to use the 12 mths route they actually told us to transfer funds to another bank to make sure I was well under the 800k next yr. As last year Immigration took all my credit advices, my self assessment tax declaration from HMRC and my P60s from my pension providors and gave nothing back except stamped passport and bank book. Still trying to work out what to do next year???

How did you change from 800k to 12 mthly transfers? Did you need to produce both accounts to Immigration?

Get the O visa at their local Thai Embassy BEFORE coming to Thailand. Then get it extended after arrival using an agent including opening a bank account

Facial (farcical) recognition doesn't work. BB instructs removal of glasses and then blinking smiling and head turn all without glasses- how do they expect users to read the instructions?. Went to branch to report this and was preceded by another westerner who also couldn't make it work. They took a new photo and it still didn't work for him and me. What's the problem with 2/3/4 factor authentication with ID, password and sms code all on registered device???

Went to BB and Immigration to extend my retirement visa using Agent again. Had credit advices for 1 yr and 800k in account for 3 mths to cover both eventualities BB gave letter confirming 800k in account and said 'next year keep your account under 800k by transferring surplus to another bank if you want to use the mthly pension income route as otherwise we will lock up your 800k for 4 mths'!! Asked what happens if I finish up in Hospital and need the 800k. They had no answer just said Immigration and BB had agreed this restriction. Anybody else threatened with a locked account?

Bear in mind facial recognition is hit and miss and v unreliable.I have never been able to work BB's facial recognition since installed by my branch for many years. 'take off face coverings' includes glasses makes it impossible to follow subsequent instructions
