The tax changes regarding residents are under discussion. Far from certain they will ever happen. Meantime I doubt the small 300 baht charge would make any difference to the number of visitor arrivals, whether applied or not. -

Married to my Thai wife for 40 years. She is 68 I am 82. We are still happy together. She is a great cook, drives a car with skill, and enjoys a laugh. I consider myself a lucky man. -

The way in which Heath treated the dominions and former colonies when we entered the EEC was a disgrace. They were ignored. We should have encouraged a better, closer working relationship with them rather than joining with Europe. -
