    Notwithstanding the current issue regarding tariffs the fact is Thai people are charged outrageously high prices for vehicles, both locally manufactured/ assembled and imported.

    As a former club racer, and a follower of F1 since my parents took me aged 8 to watch the first ever F1 grand Prix at Silverstone in 1950, I just wonder if the Thais pushing for this know or care about the enormous cost, disruption, effort, knowledge and skill required to organise an event such as this. But, TIT, so it may well happen notwithstanding all the complicated issues involved.

    'Tarnishing Pattaya's image as a beloved tourist hub' says the report. In that context there are far worse things going on in Pattaya tarnishing it's image than 'phone gambling. Just for openers how about brutal attacks on foreigners, freelancers on every street corner, and theft ?

    Well, your sense of moral superiority is quite something to behold. Fact is, love him or loathe him, Musk has already achieved more in life than most of us could ever hope for. I'll give him credit for that.

    Whether he/she likes to admit it or not he/she has been born into a world of wealth and privilege that very few people will ever experience. Were it not for that I doubt he/she would be able to attract any attention or interest.

    I've lived mainly in Bangkok for the last 40 years. Now 83 years old and, so far, no ill effects whatsoever from pollution.

    This sounds like a fake story. However, people like 'Douglas', wandering about in the dead of night after a few drinks, need to keep their wits about them in entertainment areas, and not only in Thailand.

    Why not ban all religious festivals, retaining only Christmas as a pre-christian celebrationof the winter solstice ?
