I believe in the here and now. The body is not designed to last forever, it wears out. Religion has been around about 3,000 years, the Earth has been here about 4.5 billion years. Makes you wonder how it managed for so long before religion. The truth is religion is man made, sometimes for power and to rule over others or keep them subservient, and sometimes because the human cannot accept that this is it and that's all and craves for an afterlife.

She and the Democrats seem to be flying in the polls and are having a very successful party meeting. Unlike the orange man. His own nephew says he is displaying the same symptoms as his father did,.......early dementia.

She doesn't need to debate, she's miles ahead. Just allow Trump to do what he does best, make a fool of himself.

Teenager Stabs Foreign Man in Road Rage Incident Near Pattaya
Scouse123 replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
We had a house there back in the 2000s in Baan Permsiri., that we had built. A small, nice development a few hundred yards from the highway and near the Temple and railway track. We sold up a long time ago now, looks like I made the right decision. Your other point is correct too, they go there from Isaarn looking for work, promising to send money home to family, and usually kids the grandmothers are looking after, then it's booze, drugs, gambling and discos and forget the family. -
Oh Beloved Bangkok, How So You Have Changed...
Scouse123 replied to HugoFastor's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Yeah, I was born in 1962, and I am 62. Mind you, if he came as a young man, (ex forces? Vietnam conflict? ) he could be early eighties to mid-eighties. -
It's all irrelevant. The boy is in Sweden with his father, he was born in Sweden, he has a Swedish passport and Swedish citizenship. To all intents and purposes, as it stands, the boy is Swedish. You can quote whatever you like, but I think she has no chance of extracting that boy from Sweden, and he probably wouldn't want to go. The man must have been recognized as the legal father, otherwise, what is he doing in Sweden.

Oh Beloved Bangkok, How So You Have Changed...

Agree with that. It used to be no holds barred in Bangkok and Pattaya from naked on stage to blow jobs at the bar. There was also all the outrageous shows they used to do. Ping-pong,darts, etc It was a laugh at the time. Also, I think there used to be far more interesting characters floating around than there are now. It has become sterile. Khao San road has all but vanished, a shadow of its former self. Taxi meters didn't exist, the roads were jammed with tuk tuks. Even the outside counter top bars used to be fun, now they are manned by miserable middle-aged women who just want to watch TV and expect tipping for a beer. Pattaya didn't have a Russian mafia problem, or a Chinese one, there were no kidnappings by Chinese mafias, nor any crazy young Kuwaitis driving motorbikes like lunatics. The Westerners tended to be more well-heeled and many of the younger westerners couldn't really afford to travel here. It was more fun and more peaceful. -

Off-duty Thai cop hit by truck while aiding accident victims in Isaan
Scouse123 replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
RIP to the young policeman. A tragic story. -
I'd take a 4 x 4 private car any day of the week. Door to door and no annoying people anywhere near me.

Have you thought through before you posted? Happy and healthy childhood. The kid has far more opportunities in life, a better education system, better hospitals, better employment prospects and a better future in SWEDEN. What are his prospects in Thailand? Lousy education system, eating hand to mouth daily, mother taking on some lowlife Thai husband and the boy in a dysfunctional family or being brought up by grandparents in filthy living conditions, whilst the mother is out looking for another foreigner. The boy is far better off where he is, with his father, @kneebendingfools

I don't think she can, you are holding all the cards. The boy has Swedish nationality, he has a Swedish passport and father, and he resides in Sweden.

Cambodia Visa for Short Term Tourist
Scouse123 replied to Danderman123's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
Apply here online:- https://www.evisa.gov.kh/ Follow the instructions, pay online. The visa will come to your email, cut it out, make an additional copy and staple one into your passport. You will get an entry and exit stamp only in Cambodia, then just dispose of your stapled e visa when you leave the country. -
I don't think she has the power or determination to take on a Swedish father when the boy resides in Sweden and has a Swedish passport. @kneebendingfools can simply be difficult and refuse to assist. He has custody of the child, the woman is facing an uphill battle. Is she trying to get money from you? Is that what this is about? And is she using the child as leverage?

Thaksin Shinawatra Faces Legal Trouble for Political Interference
Scouse123 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Thanks, I just don't get that some members reach fever pitch in their support for a convicted thief and criminal, and also a mass murderer. From land deals to bribing judges, the guy is one of the most corrupt, the country has ever had, and is definitely only in it for himself and his family dynasty. He ran the country as his own personal piggy bank. Then, of course, there was the Thai government loan to sell his own family business telecommunications systems to Myanmar. He even wanted to buy Manchester City with government funds. I remember the extra judicial killings, and also the Americans telling him very forcefully through channels to stop it and take a different approach. -

He also holds no political rank or position, so should not be wearing the white uniform.
