The food is good and a lot of it we cook at home.
The weather is good as a rule although sick of mosquitos at the moment. Electric bills are cheap and so is fuel.
Where I live is lazy, peaceful and laid back. Nobody rushes which is annoying at times, but great at other times.
Nobody takes life too seriously and plenty of smiling faces even when they have little compared to the West. I like the fact that it is Buddhist as opposed to other religions.
A big house that is very affordable in Thailand what you would struggle to have in the UK, without being a slave to utility bills and taxes.
Very handy for beach resorts in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. I can think of far worse places to be.
Watch the traffic, stay away from the local constabulary as much as possible and try not to get too involved with alcohol and cigarettes.
