In 2020, at this time of the year, we experienced a barrage of MAGA posts whining about massive voter fraud, getting wet at every Kraken style lawsuit (which all ultimately failed), and so on. Nothing like that now. Dems are not whining about imaginary fraud, are not chanting "stop the steal", and are certainly not going to assault the Capitol! 😀

It would be more accurate to say that NATO has been 'drawn' Eastward. The first aim of the newly free Eastern countries was to do everything they could to avoid being dominated by SU/Russia again. That was a strong motivation for joining NATO and the EU. That's the key reason: no neighbouring country (unless ruled by an autocrat) is attracted by the failed Russian model. Russia is not attractive, it's repulsive!
