  3. Whilst I don't get these annoying people knocking on my door nowadays because I live in a apartment, I do remember when I went to visit my mother back in the early 2000's at her house up on the NSW central coast I didn't know the night I went to visit her was Halloween night I opened the door to hear a group of young kids with an old bloke with a cardigan on and long socks pulled up to his knees stsnding behind them They all shouted "trick or treat !!! I looked at the old guy , "get outta here NOW you old C I shouted before I put my non gender boot up your ass ..and take your monster kids with you !
  4. I would like to hear from our Cambodian expats here on ASEAN forum And I know there is many of you and thankyou for your service I haven't been since 2016 ,where I had pickpocket kids try to steal my money on that Riverside area but that's another story Did you live in Thailand before perhaps and decided in all algorithm that Cambodia was much better for ? Well ... financial reasons ? Girlfriend reasons ? Visa reasons ? Work reasons ? Do English teachers go to Cambodia? Who knows? Why did you choose Cambodia,do you love it ,do you hate it ? Do you have a history interest ? Do you like Phomn Penh or Siem reap ? What about Sihanoukville, use to be popular never hear much of it now Or what the "new" kep.... something? Songs about Cambodia Lost in Cambodia by Kim Carnes Cambodia, formerly known as Kampuchea Now becoming a big Chinese global Empire with casinos etc Oh the magnificent history of this place Oh when I first went in 2004 the Phomn Penh was a dump Now look at it A beautiful read .... fascinating.... interesting CAMBODIA !!!!!.
  5. Absolutely not ! I avoid people and crowds Even when I was holidaying in Pattaya I stayed (locked)in the condo with air conditioning on and classical music up loud to drown out any outside noise I could hear the Saturday night fireworks outside ,no way was I going into a crowd of people breathing and spitting on me !!
  6. Don't tell me your one of those imbeciles who walk around with their kids knocking on doors asking for Halloween treats !
  7. Yes darl....are you on ya knees ,mouth open ? Make sure ya take ya dentures out first Jack
  8. And they do only have ONE check out at that Tops ,it's on the right side near the wall. I often have to wait as far back where the fabric conditioners are on the wall Open another bloody checkout
  9. The alternative? Living in farang land on the same money !
  10. No No...what you do is immediately agree with the farang girl tell her she's right ..and then as they open the check out ...you turn to the staff and start telling them the obnoxious behaviour of these farangs and you look at her and shake your head !
  11. Well as your American you know nothing outside America and all their unfunny jokes I guess he is talking about Maggie thatcher
  12. You sound like a beautiful man with a beautiful heart ,thankyou for caring
  13. Yes I believe we cannot help out without a work visa ,what a shame I was asked once for money by a young farang 30's ( near the flybird condominium ) who I believe had alcohol problems / drug problems and I did buy him street food but was wondering any longer term charity that can help him I did ask around and found out he was on a disability pension from Norway
  14. Oh please leave me alone , I was in Lopburi earlier this year, The day the Earthquake happened I was there sitting in the hotel reception where I thought I was fainting , sitting on a lounge waiting for my car back to Bangkok I have had a traumatic time this past year I don't need bullying , ,thankyou!!!!
  15. The assault was finally dealt with after I called and complained to my local Member of Parliament back in Australia whose number I have on speed dial, they did send a Detective out to my hotel in Lopburi that evening albeit very late ,and he was very nice and empathetic
  16. Yes I have been a little sad at the way some posters here have treated me , but the positives are they are taking out their anger on me and not some old little old lady or even their partners , I don't mind being called an old whore actually, it could be true ! But I never forget the help & assistance from many of you , including yourself, over the last few years when you came to help me in Jomtien when my Zimmer frame got stuck in the mud .thankyou again And to the poster on here who help me escape from View Talay 2B ,you know who you are ,thankyou again Sir for helping me over the fence , And last year when I had a horde of Middle Eastern hoodlums doing motorbike burnouts in the back of my Airbnb causing me to hide under the bed in fear of my life as I could hear the motorbikes roaring outside my window and immediately posted on the forum for help , I was lucky to come out unscathed Airbnb moved me to a place with security I was surprised after 20 minutes to see the tourist police vehicle with flashing red lights in my Airbnb driveway along with motorbike police , thankyou to those posters who responded to my Maydays and there was quite a few who responded ! So there is some wonderful guys on here who are willing to help Unfortunately there is some nasty ones too but hopefully I'm here for them so they don't abuse others and I forgive them I think the majority of posters on here are wonderful and happy and thankyou guys again
  17. Im very poor and elderly and infirm with a Zimmer frame, Those ones with the fold down seat so I can sit down every few steps
  18. Is there any soup kitchens for homeless / poor people in Pattaya such as free charity food kitchens that hand out food ?
  19. I thought Scotland Yard was better ..but immigration could be another try for the OP
  20. Use real estate agents if renting !!
  21. He should of used a real estate agent I guess than a private landlord How does it work say in Bangkok if I'm paying a month bond / deposit on a apartment ? Some of these on Pattaya want TWO months deposit
  22. I agree but there's no where to park in Pattaya Say I went to Soi Bukhao where can I park I guess the same with most places
  23. Do you think the landlord identifies as a Thai girl ? Possible
  24. If there's a court case pending leave it at that If that current case is not between him and you And he still owes you money then I would go to see HIS embassy and I'm not joking Even call the police in his home country and let him know by email I called Scotland yard a few years ago on a farang who "accidentally" lost my luggage on arrival at his little hotel guesthouse They called him in Thailand and he ended up paying compensation
