And here I was walking the Manila Subway at night ! I got off at a Railway station called Abad Santos , it's in the rougher type area I was walking to change platforms when I saw 2 guys talking to the security guard ,both dark skin , tattooed rough looking guys muscle guys ,very bad looking faces I thought as there talking to the uniformed security guards it would be ok to pass them ,I ignored them as I walked past ,they said "hello Sir" The first thing I thought of was their looks didn't match their voice😄they spoke very clear unlike street type talk They a followed me carrying a backpack onto the subway train. They approached me on the train , very friendly and showed their badges as railway transit police plain clothes unit 🤯👮‍♂️👮‍♂️ The way the spoke so intelligent not matching their looks ,clear and firm voices they were very friendly and I later saw them about 3 hours later at midnight travelling the subway back and forth They said to me so nice "Excuse me Sir there is no NEED for you to PATROL the subway as we are doing it !😄

Your obviously not a "city boy" I live in Sydney City and a few months ago a friend drive me about ,6 hours out of Sydney City I felt scared , helpless ,anxious There were dead animals laying on the side of the road with blood on them. Dark trees were swaying in the wind ,there was no lights It was very very spooky

Last night I went to a group learning class in my area on the Tagalog class ( Filipino) There was only a handful of us and the teacher spoke about the "psychology" of learning a new language I was fascinated by when he said we should use the "Pareto principle " in learning this new language I was too fascinated in googling this Mr Pareto during the class that I didn't listen to the class But what a fascination the Pareto principle is But back to language learning, has anyone tried later in their life yo learn a new language Thai language is easy compared to Tagalog There is about 5 words to ask what are you doing compared to the one word for Thai language But I spent the whole class googlinh the Pareto principle and didn't learn anything

I think I might try CM next trip instead of Pattaya with a view to living long term I haven't been to CM in 15 years So tell me the difference in terms of Easy access walking , food prices ,rent prices ,condo sale prices ,gyms , hospitals Not really interested in bars but you can mention them too Is CM good for a single older male to retire vs Pattaya?

This morning I was on WhatsApp to a person on Pattaya who mentioned Old Pop Old Pop is a 70 something old Australian guy who I met who lives in Pattaya He lived up toward Terminal one renting a studio, don't ask me where but up near that ✈️ which is a eyesore But please don't get me off track about aeroplanes or Terminal one shopping centre,it's not necessary Anyway after being rudely interrupted getting back to Old Pop he lives fantastic on his average I heard 45,000 baht per month Australian pension and has do for the last 2 years ! Now his before lifestyle was in Sydney living in a doss house / rundown boarding house in Sydney's Kings Cross sharing a room with 4 other old coughing clearing their throat pensioners !!!!! Whilst waiting for a council / government house on the waiting list apparently which is 5 years wait !!!! So he left Australia, left the coughing old alcoholics behind and the old rat infested boarding house in Sydney's red light suburb of kings Cross and moved to Pattaya! Who says you can't live on 45000 baht a month!!!

Then... before you buy another one ... You would have to send them a letter , detailing what you wrote ,that it's unrepairable You can do all this yourself . Unfortunately it's mostly bluff and if it's good its better You send them a letter / email stating you took the computer to them on this date...you went to pick it up on (date) and spoke to employee who told you ..the computer was damaged by them (you allege ) They refused to fix it...you told them you would get it repaired ...but its unrepairable. ( Stating details why you have evidence why) ..you are giving them 7 days to respond If they do not respond you intend to purchase another computer sending them the bill After 7 days if they don't respond,send a second email saying they didn't respond you intend to purchase another computer if you don't hear back from them within 48 hours You then have a case As I said this will be more " bluff " to get them to comply with at least some compensation because the process of taking it further will be time consuming You then send a third email saying you haven't heard from them and you will purchase a laptop similar to the one they (you allege) they damaged You must do all this first before taking legal action The store has a right to respond In their defence they may have a contract saying they are not responsible for any damage , I don't know the consumer laws in Thailand You don't need to pay a lawyer to write a demand letter ...do it yourself The Court want some evidence you have attempted to settle the matter BEFORE you take legal action

Wouldn't the process be.... Seeing JUDGE JUDY 🤯 You advise the store in writing .... That they admitted breaking the computer after you sent it there for repair.....and they have refused to fix their damage ....and you intend to have "their" damage repaired at another location and you would require them to pay the final repair bill After having it repaired you will have to pay yourself....then SEND that bill to them .... demanding payment ! Then if they refuse to pay....THEN you take legal action to RECOVER the cost ......by seeing JUDGE JUDY
