  1. Again, I rewatched this utterance ~ 10 times. He was not talking about the auto industry taking a bloodbath. But I do agree, 100% tariffs would be a very, very bad thing.
  2. Another "friend". When did your friend start transferring the 65,000? I think your friend is hosed. Maybe get back to 800,000 then go visa exemption to 90-day Non-O to 1 year extension?
  3. Wear a hairnet. At least there is little danger of injury with mangoes and rice. Many of these "sexy" street food vendors are slinging fried goods, so there is some risk. Hard to believe "sex sells" applies to street food.
  4. Meh. Not really. He pipped four others, not Hapkarn I think Roy Ingkapairoj was top candidate? https://www.thaipbsworld.com/torsak-sukvimol-the-controversial-rise-of-thailands-new-police-chief/ Among his elder brothers is ACM Satitpong Sukvimol, private secretary to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn, as well as grand chamberlain of the Royal Household Bureau and director-general of the Crown Property Bureau. Satitpong also chairs the executive board of many companies, including Siam Bioscience, Deves Insurance, and Doi Kham Food Products.
  5. IMO there is no "context" in which a leader should threaten a bloodbath if he loses an election. Those who fall back on this "argument" are being disingenuous at best, and delusionary at worst.
  6. https://www.nationthailand.com/thailand/general/40035839 So much for "stepping in". "Foul play" sounds ominous.
  7. Savvy Admirals, taking all of the skim in the first year. Will boost consumer spending.
  8. A lot of people say this but, assuming no collusion, I think prices would be closer to market than fire. He made $100 million on the D.C. Post Office property.
  9. I watched the entire "event", and did rewind the "bloodbath" several times. I don't think his supporters really listen to him. Despite all the posturing by maga, he meant what he said. If Joe Biden is reelected he hopes that his supporters will protest violently.
  10. Maybe Paul Manafort is already working for the Russian again Trump campaign, and helping with "messaging"? Trump eyeing Paul Manafort for 2024 campaign role, Washington Post reports https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-eyeing-paul-manafort-2024-campaign-role-washington-post-reports-2024-03-18/
  11. Last I saw, in the U.K. with family getting treatment for Stage 3 liver cancer.
  12. Maestro, Netflix. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJP2QblqLA0 Bradley Cooper's tour-de-force. More of a love story than a bio-pic. Carey Mulligan is brilliant. Recommended 9/10. Nominated for seven Oscars, but no wins.
  13. Still unclear on the motive of the powers-that-be here. I thought it might be a warning or a prompt for him to share some of the take from the gambling ring. Now it feels like they want him to do a runner. Assuming he makes a come-back his legal/moral "authority" will be compromised with the public and he will be a real joke*. * See also Capt. Thamanat.
  14. They had to call a third emergency-services "foundation" to treat injuries from the battle between the first two.
  15. Based solely on one photo, handling of the firearm, and the chokehold, is it possible these two are law enforcement officers in NZ? It will be interesting to see how this is resolved...criminal charges or a misunderstanding with much waiing.
  16. American Fiction, Amazon Prime https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0MbLCpYJPA Awesome ensemble cast, go Leslie Uggams, Jeffrey Wright is brilliant in any role, has great locations (plug), thought-provoking. Highly recommended 9/10 Won Oscar for Academy Award for Best Writing (Adapted Screenplay)
  17. I think he glitched, he started talking about cars again at 1h:29m More talk about windmill graves for birds, and toilets that need to be flushed twenty times. He also was talking about Joe Biden beating Barrack Obama in 2020. Huh? It's a hoot to watch the people behind him when he's giving one of these marathon "speeches - most are close to two hours - when he says something incoherent. Buddies look at each other like WTF did he say? Or a husband whispers to his wife who shrugs.
  18. It's an election, for President, not a "dance-off". But you need to take your "wins" where you can.
  19. You seem to be inferring that Tucker gets paid for whining, while the rest of us do not. Well done sir. He was fired from his last three jobs, so there's that. And he had to pull himself up by his bootstraps, with help from his father (CEO of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, among many other jobs), and step-mom #2 the Swanson Frozen Food heiress.
  20. Entire speech. Automobile ramblings - he jumps from China to Mexico ~ 46:00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oVCoN74hjw Any suggestion or justification for a "bloodbath" seems crazy, but what do I know?
  21. I think I mentioned trump's reference. Meanwhile... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLrpk-rRvFg
  22. He's probably got one producer and she spends most of her time fighting off Tucker's "advances", so no time to vett guests. He got pranked by putin a few weeks ago in a russian supermarket. Or maybe it was the first time he's ever been in a supermarket?
  23. The trump campaign needs to call in Dr. Ronny "The Pill Mill" Jackson for a consult. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/white-house-clinic-improperly-distributed-controlled-substances-previo-rcna135787 Get trump off the generics and back on the good stuff.
  24. Yikes! That is a significant increase.
