  1. 2 cycles can be tricky to start.
Try setting choke full then pull until you get an attempt at running that fails. Stop and set the choke to halfway and pull away until it starts. At that point open the throttle full and run it until it's hot and idles on its own.
Maybe there's a problem that needs repair but sometimes the fuel/air mixture get out of sorts.

  2. Not ridiculous. They are simply acknowledging the real state of affair - that presently, a large % of those holding driving licenses paid bribes for them and are actually not qualified to drive.

What happens with foreigners like myself up in rice country who was told to get out of the 2 hr seminar room because I didn't speak Thai.

There was no English option for the seminar material or the drivers study manual. Fortunately I had gone online and studied some sample questions posted by Chang Mai Buddies (big thanks), looked at the boards in the building and asked my wife to explain the signs as best she could then took the test.

Took the test and missed one. You know who was a little shocked because recently she had tested a 44 and had to retest then passed with a 46. Our relationship began to improve as she learned life in Thailand isn't all about only being Thai!

  3. In the US Chicago Tools multi-tool is it now for me. It's all about the 1-1/4" and half moon cut-off blades (I've never mounted the scraper and sander lol)
I have many hand and power options to cut things but I find this to be very quick and capable of reasonable precision in difficult situations to bull work out in the open. Always mount the Bosch brand blades (a little pricey) as no others I've tried can compare. 0a2883eff892a6ca1e587e481446e6aa.jpgecc5225f854949ca7e01053b317d080f.jpg

If you are good at guessing ... can you guess what this red coloured switch is for in the picture below as that is a picture  of his battery ... lol ... and looking at the picture maybe part of the problem is the dirty surface ...

Remote mechanics starter switch is all I've got for that one. The top of the battery looks to have fluid stain as possibly the battery boiled over? Not what I envisioned a 6 month old battery to look like. Also I noticed the battery was made in Thailand.
  5. Taking shoes off in the house is very common in the U. S.

    That's true.
A friend recently told of being asked to take off his shoes in a Chinese American's home during an estimate visit. The ladies cocker spaniel pooped on the carpet and they stated the dog has a bad habit of doing that and apologized to which he replied "and you were worried about my shoes!". They had an awkward laugh and he got the job.
