  1. Well, this is a "turn up for the books" as I think the saying goes, as this woman is not all she appears to be, and using false names and false heritage certainly doesn't do her any favours – – let's hope a lot more of the truth is found out and she is exposed for what she is, and being a liar could be the least of her worries.
  2. We used to use the hand cleaner gel called "Swarfega" when I was an apprentice and we were pulling cables through conduit, but I don't know if that is still available these days, however some sort of hand gel would probably do the trick.
  3. Actually, I like both Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson as actors, and particularly like the movie "In Bruges", but this one was either about Irish stupidity (didn't mean to offend anybody) or something I didn't cotton on to, and IMO was pretty pointless. Still, it would be a sad world if we all liked the same movies!
  4. My wife has been missing a week now. The police said to prepare for the worst. So, I had to go down to Goodwill shop to get all of her clothes back. I was explaining to my wife last night that when you die you get reincarnated but must come back as a different creature. She said she would like to come back as a cow. I said, "You obviously haven't been listening".
  5. Wife says to husband "You only ever want sex when you're drunk" Husband says "That’s not true . . . sometimes I want a kebab" My sexy Chinese neighbour told me she was desperate for a roger. It was only when I had my trousers round my ankles, that I realised she wanted to rent her spare room out!
  6. Stephen Hawking went on his first date in 10 years, and when he got back, his glasses were smashed, he had a broken wrist, a twisted ankle and grazed knees. Apparently she'd stood him up.
  7. I got sacked last night from the Salvation Army soup kitchen, ungrateful b*ggers. All I said was, 'Hurry up for goodness sake, some of us have got homes to go to!'
  8. All the very best Simon and please keep your "readers" up to date as regards your progress. Good luck.
  9. A woman had been on the game for four years and was worried about the size of her ???? on her wedding night, so she decided to tell her husband that she caught it climbing over a fence. After about an hour in bed with her he said, "just how far across the field where you before you realised it was caught?".
  10. My neighbour found out her dog could hardly hear so she took it to the veterinarian. He found the problem was hair in its ears and cleaned both ears and the dog could hear fine. The vet told the woman if she wanted to keep this from reoccurring, she should go to the store and get some "Nair" hair remover and rub some in the dog's ears once a month. The woman goes to the drug store and gets some "Nair" hair remover. At the register the druggist tells her, "If you're going to use this under your arms, don't use deodorant for a few days." The woman says, "I'm not using it under my arms." The druggist says "If you're using it on your legs, don't use lotion for a couple days." The woman says, "I'm not using it on my legs either. And, if you must know, I'm going to use it on my schnauzer." The druggist says, "Then don’t ride your bicycle for a week."
  11. I watched this last night and was expecting great things as it had an IMDb rating of about 8.2........but I was very disappointed, because IMO it was a pointless movie that focused on isolation, smallmindedness and stupidity and all that those things bring. Didn't enjoy it one bit.
  12. TOPS in Central sell it, which reminds me that I must buy one for a Xmas treat!
  13. Thinking back on it, I had to provide a phone number for them to contact when it reached New Zealand, so I do believe you are right in what you say.
  14. Unlike the cooks in Nigeria on the oil platforms (just after the Biafran war) who couldn't find any rice or flour without these weevils in, so would basically cook them in the process, and we learnt to not closely inspect the bread rolls they made, just eat them without really looking!!!! Newcomers to the platform couldn't believe it, but it had become a way of life and didn't bother us......and I'm still here 50+ years later!
  15. I have used DHL to courier important documents from Thailand to New Zealand and it only took around three days as I recall. Luckily the documents were for a legal matter and there was somebody there to receive them – – very important as Liverpool Lou has said.
  16. On the subject of hotels/hotel managers, I decided to watch The First Exotic Marigold Hotel (again) last night and was so pleased that I did, as I had forgotten the background/buildup to the folks who departed the UK for this exotic location. More than anything else, the movie seemed to reflect aspects of my sojourn here and also the conflicts that one deals with, as well as what to do as regards future activities, if any are undertaken (or not) and it was thoroughly enjoyable and uplifting IMO. Well worth watching again.
  17. Just a note to all concerned.........I shouldn't have got involved in this thread, because I really have no time for the anti-VAX/conspiracy theorist nonsense, and I trust the professors, universities, doctors, surgeons, because after all they are the people who are responsible for looking after us, and they do a damn good job. So seeing the nonsense which people post about the safety of vaccines and other YouTube nonsense and hearsay, only convinces me that I need to stay away from these sort of people because it's a bit like playing chess with a pigeon – – yes I guess you know the rest. So over and out and I want to see no more of this nonsense, therefore will not be replying to any posts and will scratch this thread from my "following" list.
  18. Mary had a little skirt with splits right up the sides, and everywhere that Mary went the boys could see her thighs. She also had another skirt which split right up the front, She never wore that one...........
  19. It looks like the poster with the avatar depicting a "savage" gets his posts wrong quite often, so good on you for countering them with facts and for @heybruce in stating that the "highly organized effort" that the painted face refers to was conducted under the Trump administration, and no verifiable link to President Biden has been reported. I don't follow this very closely, however I had to laugh when he stated that people "had an irrational hatred for Trump", because in my book the man is a thief, a crook and a clown, so why wouldn't people dislike him??
  20. Perhaps someone should look at the referee's bank account, because there were a couple of clear fouls, and one leading up to the French goal, that should have resulted in England having a free kick, and perhaps even a penalty. Even then on another occasion the VAR replay had to be used to overturn the referees incompetence in not awarding a penalty. Sad for England as they played very well.

  22. Where can I find the Doc Martin movie?? Seems to be a series as well??
  23. On average about one or two visits per month, and then only because a friend knows a couple of the girls who work there.......on that note, this friend of mine was exclaiming after our last visit as to how amazed he was that a very "innocent" and new-to-Patong girl he met a couple of months ago, and in his words, "who wouldn't say boo to a goose", was now performing these lewd oral acts on stage!!!!! It's all about the money I suppose, but who am I to judge as some of these girls have to earn a living somehow to support their families.
  24. In my opinion it's still one of the best pizza places around, and they are that good that it is easy to get hooked on them – – my waistline knows this only too well! And yes as LL says, it is very busy early to mid-evening, and the other evening when I was waiting to pick up a takeaway (pizza that is) there was a guy standing outside of the place, waiting for a spare table to come available!
