Just like with anything ........ the older it gets the more careful and diligent one must be regarding taking care. I did plenty of traveling, and some drinking........ but over 60 i became more and more conscious of what to do and what not to do . Learned a lot by reading and observing . And almost totally relying on diet changes and natural remedies ... that work ! I am not on PPI's , statins, blood pressure drugs, etc etc that are overly prescribed and very often harmful .

I am very happy (and surprised) to see how many posters do not agree with the premise of the OP . I used to be a lone wolf , rebelling against the exhorbitant cost of health insurance and the many problems when making a claim. Just not worth it ...... in MY opinion

well, if you do get reborn ............. listen to what rumak said ten years ago, and few times since ( only to get the usual bashing about how stupid it is to "self insure" ) . Always increasing premiums....... more exemptions...... not to mention the STRESS of getting them to pay out . I have saved a few million baht by putting those "premiums" into my bank account over the last 20 years . Being active, not fat, and eating real food is all it takes for many people to stay healthy . I also stay off the many meds that allopathic doctors want to get you on . Its always the ones that are constantly sick that tell me how lucky they are to have a great doctor and pills for all that ails.

I sometimes forget that reading apprehension is not a strongpoint of the warriors in forums. For those who might be in that class...... my post is calling out the "left" ( though i do not like to use that word, just doing it now for ease of comprehension for those uncapable of understanding) . Amusing is a kind word to use. It is actually sickening to observe how hypocritical and blatantly sick are those who are so blind , due to maniacal bias which refuses to even consider that they could be wrong . This is actually a rehashed topic , not sure if OP was the same or not . Does seem to get the clicks going, so good work on that HF . by George you're right ! i did go recently and was really impressed hearing this rather loud, inebriated group yelling something about how the specific type of spin determines how the ball's trajectory is affected due to aerodynamic forces ! i can also understand why the announcer yells " gooooooooooooooooooaaaaalllllll" for a minute or two . Hell...... only happens once or twice in 2 hours .
