Question : When one asks for a ONE year statement from the bank ( bkk or Kasikorn) .... How does one specify from what date to what date ? If money in the bank method (800 k ) is immigration looking at date of last extension to the date applying for new extension ? ( mine is term acct, so no withdrawels )

Thanks Spidermike ...... for a short but good overview , which i was hoping for. You being there and having imo a realistic discernment of what you witnessed is appreciated. The media on both sides can choose and pick the click bait they want to sway the populace with ( mainstreet media is almost totally owned and controlled by the left though , and thus their message has much greater volume) one note : even those owning homes and wishing to have a few bucks to spend are also getting royally screwed as the inflation madness can inflate their "new value" of their property....... thus bringing a hefty increase in their property tax bill . as things stand, and are headed more each day.......... i am thankful to have my little oasis here in the LOS . ( land of survivors 🙂 The "elite" here, though, are well in line with the global agenda . They know who holds the upper hand and navigate the narrative in a way which keeps them on top.

What area in the US did you spend time ? I am wondering what you observed with the people in those areas ......... like your family and friends and "ordinary" citizens . Some reports of crime and attitudes toward the middle classes are mind=boggling. Just exactly what ( in your opinion) is going on there ?

yes, the FL *** protocol would be a good start to read . I agree with what you have written . If someone has a lot of money there are a few places in the States with treatment facilities .

you got it . a few members left here looking for greener pastures , only to return. I think those who have been here for many years and still see it as a good option , if not the best , have adapted well . Some in cities, some in tourist places, and some in more rural and "thai style" circumstances. Many options, as i see it . Compromises are made everywhere , and the outcomes are different for all . I hit a lot of bumps over the years..... mostly a learning process. I still find the "average" thai people very nice and easy to get along with ...IF the foreigner isn't a jerk , or expect the Thais to change into a society like the West, where they came from.

Actually , so many foreigners come here to "get back to nature" . Many of them get hopelessly tangled up in the vines, or bitten by the love bug in the concrete jungles. Last but not least ....... there are the animal lovers . It all looks so easy, and then they find out that keeping the buffalo healthy and happy is almost impossible .

Yes, Yes, Yes ! At least read some opinions regarding statins (and cholesterol) from some other sources. Not quacks. Well researched doctors . Start with google "the great cholesterol myth" (there are other sources as well, but you need to search). note: the opinions of these doctors does not conform to the mainstreet government guidelines

Is there a specific doctor or urologist you like (in CM) if I need to consult about gastro or urinary matters ? Its been ages since i have seen a doctor ..... though i go myself to check blood every year or so at a lab .

I have started using Lazada more lately ( buy many NOW brand on iHerb, but wait time is longer , pills subjected to heat from travel, etc ) . The Mrs. is great at finding deals and discounts on Lazada. I already had saw palmeto 540 mg .... and yesterday ordered the pumpkin seed oil 1000 mg , Swanson brand, from Lazada. Thank you for sending YOUR dosage ( i am surprised, only once a day ) , but agree 100% that dosage must be determined individually.... and starting LOW is the smartest way . It is helpful to know (anecdotally) how others fare and how much they take. I will forego the Cialis at first . My blood pressure is on the low end, so i could take it if needed. We all want to avoid meds if possible, and also definitely surgeries . Stay well . (and btw , i live out by Finicky ... )

would you mind giving the amounts and frequency/time of day that you use for the Saw Palmetto and Pumpkin seed oil ? Ideally, that is a good recipe to follow . ( but seriously... this is AseanNow forum 🙄). I came to Thailand when the few travelers roaming around lived by their wits , not always successfully to be honest . There were no guidebooks and internet experts to show the way . Sooooo. I learned the old fashioned way , and there is no substitute for experience (as the saying goes) . I have the thrills, the scars, the scratched car, the banged on door at 2 in the morning, the live=ins that lasted various time periods, the lies, ..... but also the cycle trips on unknown dirt roads through the mountains, the small towns with no english and me with little Thai , the giggling and oogling villagers, the drunk nights at all types of venues. And many "invigorating" short encounters (not just sexual ) , but just riding down the road to be met with a big smile as a real cutie passed . ok ok that was long ago haha. But....... eventually my number came up . Found one that didn't change from the original "promotion" stage. In fact exceeded my expectations. And, my luck was...... I was too old by that time to let the little brain drag me away from a good thing .
