Nice statement:
“It was a bad situation for us when the 300 baht minimum wage policy was approved, but this is worse,” said the confederation’s Nauvarat Songswaddichai.
300 Thb for an Employee was bad, so we kicked them all out and replaced them with illegal foreing labors with less salaries.
But how and with whom do we replace illegal foreigners?
foreigners. some are desperate to stay in thailand and will do so for 100thb/day.

nothing wrong with thai hospitals. both my kids were born at memorial hospital in pattaya, cost about 50k each. as much as i love living in thailand i moved home to nz when my eldest turned 5. i think a western upbringing is very important. you are a rarety being a western female with a thai as the dad to your kid. i never saw that in the 10 years i was in thailand. important thing is getting all spelling on the birth cert correct. good luck.

They should bring in outside consultants from outside Thailand and follow their recommendations
pointless, then those people bought in would get rich in bribes. there is already a separate department that is supposed to investigate and prosecute police corruption. they never prosecute anyone and always find the cops innocent.

perhaps this is an example of a new sheriff in town.
ha, every new guy does this and collects part of the cash windfall to help pay for buying his promotion.

That's like saying Kim Jong Un is doing a pretty good job of running North Korea.
no it is not. comparing north Korea to Iraq is like comparing apples to diarrhea, verbal diarrhea.

Nope.
Maybe hastened his death by capturing him in a "spider" hole but he was released to custody of Iraqi officials. Saddam was subsequently sentenced to death by hanging, after being convicted of crimes against humanity (Iraqis) by the Iraqi Special Tribunal.
yanks had a pretty big role in his death. he was doing a pretty good job or running iraq and probably still would be if america didnt decide to invade and oust him.

You wonder though if aircraft carriers will soon go the way of the battleship, with current missile technology are they really just for show? Just a continuation of the gunship diplomacy of years gone by...
a battle carrier group is an impressive way of projecting power without actually destroying anything. america has 11 of them and once deployed can out gun pretty much any foreign power.

innocent or guilty i doubt it will make any difference. anyway she has been fined already, lucky for her she has no assets to have confiscated. crying may help her popularity with her fans but not with the courts.

Well that should drive the racists crazy, but I agree that you can not send someone to a place where they are likely to be tortured or killed. And that isn't just from an International legal perspective. Any person who wants to claim that they have any decent human nature, should also agree, based on common decency and humanity. Hence, anyone disagreeing with the courts decision, will reveal themselves for the uncaring heartless b@stards that they are.
no america killed Saddam and made Iraq a safe place to live.

17? must be more than that. there are still plenty of western guys opening bars and investing in new houses for their tiraks.

still too many for the good generals liking. how can he get it down to just one party running?
-
my tip would be the rompo market and beer bars. great food and cheap beers in an open aired atmosphere.

Not according to this
seems to be quite a bit of conflicting information. article i read said it can be transmitted from a man to a woman through sexual contact. how they determined it was from sex and not from a mosquito i dont know.

Not much chance of that in New Zealand.........or anywhere else. Human to human malaria transmission doesn't happen.
yea seems africa bears most of the malaria deaths. was talking about zika being transmitted from men to woman, not malaria.

they need to be ordered. actually that does not work either going by the last 3 years.

once dash cams become more common there wont be enough time to show all the accidents.

So article 44 is now also to be used as a delaying tactic useful in buying time to deqly the implementation of ill thought out junta edicts.
bit like the fire fighter who was setting fires to look like a hero when participated in putting them out.

whats the point? wonder what this is all about.

whole world is floating on a sea of debt. a flood of it resulting from artificially low interest rates and stimulus spending.

just delay the elections for as long as possible then vote in yingluck or a clone if she is not allowed to run. then have a coup and do it again. why change a winning formula?

bit like the no riding in the back of a pick up rule.

the army needs a single gateway. then they can control the internet how they want and not have to grovel to international companies to try to control their citizens. surprised that they have not thought of it before.
