exactly right. if you play everything right. rent your condo, dont do any work, dont date any thai girls life will probably go smothly. it is always good to have an exit plan just incase things do go bad. best preparation is to rent everything here and be prepared to walk away from anything you have here. once i sell my pick up i will be in the position to step on a plane at a couple days notice.

no guards probably means nobody pays service charge and no services. I would not consider without myself as they are better than nothing and at least know who comes and goes.

can be even worse than useless. my mate was in one gated community but the security guard could not be bothered opening and closing the gate for incoming and out going cars so he just left it open his whole shift. one western owner wen to give him a telling off and the guard stabbed him. like many people say it is a good sign if there is security however.

like most people with experience living in thailand say, as a foreigner just stay away from it. return a wai to be polite. of course i wai my kids school teachers in return and so on. one exception is my kids thai grandparents, i give them a wai when i visit them.

The tiger farms feed and boost demand in the trade in illegal tiger parts. As a consequence poachers without access to farmed tigers target wild tigers to make a living from the enhanced trade in parts. Nobody dealing in bits of tiger knows or cares whether they came from wild or farmed tigers. Farmed tigers increase demand and to some extent legitimize the trade, and wild populations suffer as a consequence.

cant understand this. if tiger parts are worth so much then there more farms will be converted. can you give me one example of an animal that became farmed where number actually reduced? can even tax the farms and use the money toward protecting tigers in the wild. dont think there are many left in thailand to protect however.

Trump has never been elected to anything and likely never will be. Sure Hillary benefitted from name recognition and connections to win her first senate race. But after that it was up to her whether voters rejected her or not. Obama likely picked her to keep his enemies close but they appear to have bonded.
